A Chibok mother identifies daughter on video of abducted schoolgirls...
A mother of one of the abducted Chibok schoolgirl has
identified her daughter in a video posted by Islamist
sect, Boko Haram, which showed dozens of girls in
captivity, a school leader said on Tuesday.
The mother watched the video on television on Monday
evening and spotted her daughter among the girls
sitting on the ground and wearing veils, said Dumoma
Mpur, parent-teachers association chairman at
Government Secondary School in Chibok, Borno State.
The leader of rebel group, Abubakar Shekau, issued the
video on Monday offering to release more than 200
schoolgirls, who were kidnapped from the school in a
raid on April 14, in exchange for prisoners held by the
government. It was not immediately apparent when the
video of the girls was filmed.
“The video got parents apprehensive again after
watching it but the various steps taken by the
governments and the coming of the foreign troops is
boosting our spirit, even though I have not seen the
any one soldier in Chibok yet,” Mpur told Reuters by
telephone.
The Nigerian government said it was exploring all
options in its effort to rescue the girls. The United
States and Britain have sent experts to help with the
search and Nigeria has sent two divisions to the
northeastern border region.

Z, and her sister, Solange Knowles getting physical
in an elevator at The Standard Hotel after the Met
Gala.
There's ve been never ending speculation of what
the real cause of the tussle would have been with
none of them speaking out or releasing a statement
yet. However with reports the Beyonce and Solange
attended Kelly Rowland's secret wedding just days
later, speculations were rife that Jay might have hurt
Beyonce who never speaks out. Solange hates the
way Jay treats Bey and wasn't going to take it this
time and that was the reason Beyonce who stood and
watched her sister hit her husband, never interfered
cos Solange was defending her.
A Twitter user shared the screenshot below, claiming
that Solange posted the tweet yesterday, allegedly
giving her reason for engaging in a squabble with
her brother-in-law, but later deleted it.
