It’s been a couple of weeks since the news of their relationship hit social media. However, sources say that Kris Jenner has secretly tied the knot with her new boyfriend, Corey Gamble.

Just days after the 59-year-old reality star was allegedly getting ready to marry her boy toy on the season finale of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’, the 34-year-old was spotted wearing a silver band on his left ring finger.

“Kris has asked her daughters how they really feel about Corey because she said that she is convinced he is the one,” an insider told Radar Online. Adding that, “She told them that having it as an episode of the show is an extremely lucrative idea.”

The source also said, “Kris told her kids that it is just a bonus that their wedding will make them a lot of money because she is legitimately in love.”

CUSTOMS ORDERS IMMEDIATE REMOVAL OF RICE FROM IMPORT RESTRICTION LIST

The Comptroller-General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ali (rtd), has ordered the immediate removal of rice from import restriction list and the re-introduction of import duty payment at land borders.
The Public Relations Officer of customs, Mr Wale Adeniyi, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Abuja.

He said that the restriction was only applied at land border stations before now, adding that the customs boss had lifted restriction on rice at border stations.

Adeniyi said that all rice imports through land borders by rice traders would attract the prevailing import duty of 10 per cent with 60 per cent levy.

He added that rice millers (preferential levy) with valid quota allocation would also attract duty rate of 10 per cent with 20 per cent levy on rice importation.

“Over the years importation has been restricted to the seaports because border authorities have found it difficult to effectively monitor and control importation of rice.

“When the decision to ban it (rice) was taken it was not an effective measure because smuggling of the product thrives with people using different means of conveyance including small trucks, bicycles and even animals – putting them on donkeys and some actually carry it on their heads.

“These new measures will be for customs to reognise their anti-smuggling operations in the border areas and ensure that all those importers through the borders bring their rice through approved routes and pay their extant duty.“

NAN recalls that before the ban on rice importation, customs had placed different rate of levy on rice imports.

NAN also recalls that 30 per cent levy was placed on rice millers (preferential levy) and 70 per cent for rice importers.

Former Super Eagles’ captain and coach, Austin Eguavoen believes 101-capped Vincent Enyeama is still the best man for the senior national team captaincy despite the recent shake-up in the team.

Chief Coach Sunday Oliseh Tuesday announced a change of baton that saw the emergence of striker Ahmed Musa as the new captain of the Eagles in what the coach described as a change he can’t help but to effect.

To Eguavoen, a 2006 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) bronze winning coach, that issue of a team’s captaincy is a sensitive matter.

He, however, admits that the prerogative of who becomes the captain of a team lies with the Chief Coach whose choice is often guided by the prevailing team’s philosophy.

“This is a very sensitive situation, but every coach comes with his own philosophy and style of preparation, and we have to accept it.

“But, I think Vincent should continue as captain, he’s in form, he’s doing well and there’s nothing wrong with that.
However, if Oliseh has decided he wants somebody else, then Vincent and all of us have to accept it,” Eguavoen said in an interview with Brila FM early Wednesday.

Meanwhile, while defending the reason he picked Musa as the new captain, Oliseh praised Musa’s stewardship during the

AFCON qualifier against Tanzania last month and maintains that longevity and playing positions were other issues he considered.

“There’s no captain tussle. When you have a new government, you have your philosophy and way of working. As a coach

I’ve looked at the team and Nigeria going forward, I think we need a captain that will be with us for longer, who plays regularly in the front and Ahmed did a great job for us in Tanzania; under very difficult circumstances, he’s a very responsible player and will be the captain of the team, there’s no question,” Oliseh said.

Eagles are in Belgium getting set for their international friendly matches against Congo on Thursday and against Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions on Sunday.

The friendly between the Eagles and Cameroon will be played at the Edmond Machtens Stadium in Brussels.

The stadium has a 11,000 capacity and it is the home ground of a Belgian second division club.

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed the venue change on Wednesday.

The match will be played on Sunday and kick-off time is 8pm.

The last time both countries clashed at full international level was at the 2004 AFCON with Nigeria winning 2-1 to qualify for the semi-final of the tournament in Tunisia.

CBN insists Oct. 31 remains deadline for obtaining BVN

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) says Oct. 31 remains the deadline for bank

customers to obtain their Bank Verification Numbers (BVN).

Mr Dipo Fatokun, Director, Banking and Payment System Department (BPSD) of CBN re-affirmed this while speaking to journalists on Wednesday in Abuja.

Fatokun said that at the deadline, bank customers that had not enrolled for BVN would not be able to access their accounts.

“Last week Friday the bankers communicated that there is no extension on the BVN.

“If you have not registered go and register and of course submit your BVN to your bank, no extension on the deadline of October 31.

“By November 1 if you don’t have a BVN you won’t be able to operate your account, but that does not mean that your money will be confiscated as some people have said.

“No, what it means is that you should go and do your BVN, once you do your BVN and you link it to your account, you continue to operate your account.’’

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that BVN is a unique identity number that can be verified across the Nigerian banking industry.

It was inaugurated in February 2014 with the aim of protecting customers’ accounts from unauthorised access to reduce the incidence of theft and exposure to fraud.

FIFA Commitee Suspends Sepp Blatter

FIFA ethics committee has suspended its president Sepp Blatter for 90 days. Head of the committee, Klaus Stoehlker, who has advised Blatter in the past, says the committee made the ruling pending further investigations by the Swiss attorney general following accusations of corruption.

He described it as a "pending" verdict, and said no negative finding had been made against the head of world football's governing body.

The announcement comes just hours after Blatter criticized the criminal investigation against him in Switzerland, describing it as "outrageous". He also defended his decision to remain as head of the football organising body and not step down immediately, as worldwide sponsors have urged.

The 90-day suspension is the longest FIFA's ethics committee can hand down while they carry out their investigation.

Last month, the Swiss attorney general announced that Blatter will face charges of "criminal mismanagement" and "misappropriation." Among the charges is an allegation that Blatter gave a "disloyal payment" to UEFA president Michel Platini totaling 2 million francs ($2.1 million). That payment is alleged to have been made three months before Platini announced he would not run against Blather in the 2011 FIFA presidential election.

Plot To Assassinate Ayo Oritsejafor, CAN Leader Uncovered

Plans to eliminate the President of the Christian Association of Nigerian (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, by sabotaging the integrity of his Bombardier Challenger 600 aircraft have been uncovered.

According to the African Free Press, the Man of God narrowly escaped death by the whiskers because his aircraft would have crashed if not for the grace of God and the professionalism of the pilot.

This disclosure emanated from a reliable source close to the CAN President who said Oritsejafor who also is the Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church, was on board his private aircraft when the pilot detected an unusual sound from the engine compartment forcing him to make an emergency landing and subjecting the aircraft to checks.

Upon checking for the source and cause of the sound, the engineers spotted two huge bricks placed inside the engine compartment by yet unidentified persons.

Judging from the unfortunate incident as it were, the plan was for Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor’s aircraft to crash with him on board. The high-flying pastor was said to have been distressed over this development.

The said aircraft has designated parking spaces at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja, Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos and Osubi Airstrip also known as Warri Airport all of which are under the management of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) which collects heavy fees as packing and security charges.

Efforts to reach Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor on this incident have not yielded fruit. However, a source inside FAAN who wishes to remain anonymous because he is not authorised to speak to the press confirmed to our reporters that the lawyers of Pastor Oritsejafor have written to FAAN on the frightful and outrageous incident, demanding an explanation on how and why two bricks were lodged in the engine compartment of the aircraft while it was under their care. The said letter has raised tension in FAAN as no one has claimed responsibility.

In the twists and turns of events, the pastor’s name was dragged into Nigerian politics by his detractors for being close to former, President Goodluck Jonathan and for being vociferous in his criticism of the Islamists group, Boko Haram.

The climax of the attack against him came to the fore when the aircraft which was donated to him by his congregation and some of his sons and daughters was leased out and it got entangled in a botched arms deal in South Africa.

According to government sources, the aircraft which was also on commercial lease was hired by the office of the NSA to cater for the security needs of the nation.

The opposition then leaned on the botched transaction to denigrate the CAN president ahead of the 2015 general election.

Both CAN and the CAN president have repeatedly called for a comprehensive probe of the botched deal. It is obvious that those who were eager to frame Pastor Ayo have not rested since then.

Saudi Arabia government has threatened to execute those who 'spread rumours' about the government on social media, including Twitter and Facebook.

According to a state-run website, Makkah Online, there are now laws and departments that censor mass media in the country, and the government has created a rule to punish people for not just tweeting, but also spreading anything deemed to be false. The worst 'rumour-mongers' will be executed, while lesser offenders will be punished with lashes, imprisonment, travel bans, house arrest and a social media ban, a Ministry of Justice source said.

It's a new law so no one has so far been arrested or executed but the government didn't say what kind of post would warrant a death sentence. The government said views spread over a period of time was bringing confusion to the country and felt it was time to curb it.

Activists say the new law is a way for the government to control a young, tech-savvy population.

Angry Customer Calls Police To Complain Pr0stitute Gave Him 10 Minutes Instead Of 30

An angry customer was so infuriated by poor service he got the police involved to complain that a pr0stitute had not given him enough time.
The angry man called officers to say he had paid for 30 minutes with the s3x worker, but she had only provided 10 minutes.
The unusual objection was made to police in north Manchester on Thursday, October 2, reports the MEN.
GMP Newton Heath tweeted the following morning:

Oliseh Confirms Musa As New Captain For Super Eagles

Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh, has confirmed the appointment of Ahmed Musa as the new captain of the side, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Oliseh said he picked the CSKA Moscow of Russia forward because he is building a team for the future.
"There is no captain tussle. Going forward, I need a player who is a regular in the team and it is Ahmed Musa, who did a great job in Tanzania under difficult circumstances," Oliseh told Brila FM Wednesday morning.
"He is the captain of the team, not someboby who is thinking of retirement.

Mr. Isine, who is the newspaper’s regional editor, was reporting from a federal High Court in Abuja when he was arrested. He had gone there for cases slated for the day, among them, the trial of Charles Okah, the alleged mastermind of the 2010 Independence Day bombing in Abuja.

Mr. Okah, a brother to Henry Okah, the leader of the Movement for the Emancipation Niger Delta, MEND, is facing terrorism charges. On Tuesday, after addressing the judge briefly, Mr. Okah attempted to jump to his death from the third floor of the five-storey building, but was pulled back by security operatives.

Shortly after, the SSS arrested Mr. Isine, and seized his phones and other electronic devices, ensuring
he was not in touch with his office or colleagues throughout Tuesday.

The agents did not provide any reason for detaining him. A spokesperson for the service could not be immediately reached.

Mr. Isine was held at the SSS headquarters for several hours before being transferred to the service’s office at Asokoro in Abuja. He only managed to make contact with the office late Tuesday night, and was subsequently released.

Girl Becomes Possessed after Playing Board Game On Mobile Phone

The 18-year-old, identified as Patricia Quispe, is seen convulsing as paramedics try to restrain her.
In a deep rasping voice she screams "666" followed by "let me go, let me go".

According to witnesses, the young woman from Lima, Peru, had been playing with her friends on a mobile phone version of the board game that evokes the spirits.

But when she returned home her parents noticed that she seemed to be unwell.

They said she began fitting and foaming at the mouth and her voice deepened into a raspy tone.
In another segment of the video she can be heard shouting: "Please give me my phone" and "Ma, these doctors don’t know what they’re doing, take me home." Locals who witnessed the incident were convinced she had been possessed by satanic spirits, according to local media.

Medics confirmed that the young woman seemed to be extremely strong and it was difficult to control her. She struggled for more than half an hour before they finally managed to restrain her.
The woman was committed to a psychiatric ward as doctors tried to find out more about what was causing her strange behaviour.

7 soldiers lost their lives while over 100 boko haram members were killed after the sect group made a futile attempt on 120 Task Force Battalion troops located at Goniri, Yobe State yesterday morning. A statement from the Nigerian Army's acting director Public relations, Col. Sani Usman, states that one officer and 8 soldiers were injured during the attack.

Weapons recovered from the sect members include 1 General Purpose Machine Gun, 2 Rocket Propelled Grenades, 9 AK-47 rifles and Belted rounds of 7.62 (NATO) ammunitions. Others were various wires used for Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), 7 Primed IEDs, different types of Spanners and a Torch Light.

In a related development, troops of 21 Brigade on fighting patrol from Bama to Ngurosoye, destroyed Boko Haram terrorists camps along that axis. While on patrol, the brave soldiers came across some of the terrorists hideouts that also served as fabricating area for IEDs and the terrorists’ training area. Another patrol along Bama-Kawuri axis discovered and exhumed IEDs and wires for detonation.
