Austrian Teenager Who Ran Away To Join ISIS Beaten to Death for Trying to Escape (Photos)

By     No comments:

One of the two teenager girls who ran away from their home in Austria to join terror group Isis has reportedly been beaten to death after trying to flee their Syrian stronghold.

Samra Kesinovic, 17, left her Austrian home she shared with her parents in April 2014 and, along with friend Sabina Selimovic, travelled to Syria to join Isis, becoming ‘poster girls’ for the group.

Austrian newspapers have reported that Samra was killed by the extremists after she tried to escape Raqqa, their main stronghold in Syria, however the Austrian government has not commented on the case.

Her friend Sabina, who was 15 when she travelled to Syria, was thought to have been killed in fighting last year.

Shortly after arriving in Syria photos emerged of one of the girls holding an assault rifle and being surrounded by gun-toting terrorists.

The two were also believed to have both married IS militants shortly after arriving in Syria.

Sabina allegedly became pregnant with her new husband’s child, however she denied the claims while speaking to a French newspaper via text message before her alleged death and said she was enjoying life in Syria.

Burglar Arrested While Entertaining Self In Victim’s House

By     No comments:

A 28-year-old burglary suspect, Olamilekan Olaoluwa, has been arrested by policemen from the Iponri division after breaking into a house in the Ebute-Meta area of Lagos State.

The Kwara State indigene was said to have broken into a two-bedroomed flat on Brickfield Road on Sunday around 2pm, while the occupant was away.

Olaoluwa, a secondary school dropout, removed a Plasma TV from the wall where it was hung and packed the clothes, wristwatches and a handset of his victim.
Not done, he proceeded to the kitchen and opened the fridge where he picked a can of malt to refresh himself.

He was still entertaining himself when the owner of the apartment came in and found the suspect with the loot.

She was said to have raised the alarm, drawing the attention of residents who beat up the suspect before handing him over to the police.

Olaoluwa, who claimed to have spent six years to train as a plumber, said he did not have a job or a place of abode.
He said he broke into his victim’s house because the gate was left open.

He said, “I am a secondary school dropout. I do not have a permanent place of abode, but I sometimes sleep in the Oko Baba Sawmill in Ebute-Meta.

“I don’t always steal from people. On Sunday, November 22, around 2pm, I was passing by when I saw that the gate was slightly opened and that made it easy for me to enter.

“I broke the padlock and entered the sitting room where I removed the Plasma TV. I then entered the bedroom and took the woman’s husband underwears and wristwatches.

“I also took the handset and the TV’s remote control. I opened the fridge and took a can of malt and drank it. I was going downstairs when I saw the woman. She asked who I was and what I was doing in her house.

“I asked her not to shout, but she shouted and people came inside the house.”
It was learnt that the suspect hid himself in a corner of a room in the house, but was found after an intense search.
Some hoodlums allegedly beat him up before he was handed over to the police.

The police said the suspect was arrested with the Plasma TV valued at N150,000; two wristwatches valued at N50,000; underwear estimated at N10,000; a mobile phone valued at N5,000, adding that everything summed up to N215,000.

The Investigating Police Officer, Chukwuocha Augustine, arraigned the suspect on Tuesday before an Ebute-Meta Magistrates’ Court on four counts of burglary, malicious damage, breach of the public peace and stealing.

The Police Prosecutor, Corporal Kokoye Olusegun, said the offences were punishable under sections 305, 337, 285, 166 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011.
The defendant pleaded guilty to all the charges.

The Magistrate, Mrs. O.O.A. Fowowe-Erusiafe, ruled that Olaoluwa be remanded in prison custody.

She adjourned the case till November 30 for facts and sentence.

Meet The Woman Biologically Allegic to Her Own Baby (Photo)

By     No comments:

Joanne Mackie, a 28-year old mother from Erdington, West Midlands, discovered, after giving birth to her first child, that she has a rare skin disease called Pemphigoid Gestationis, which makes her allergic to her own baby. Mackie developed serious rashes and painful blisters shortly after giving birth to her son, James. The welts in her skin were so excruciating that she could not hold her own baby and was forced to cover her arms with damp towels to protect them while she feeds him. The condition, which is said to affect one in 50,000 pregnancies, arises when antibodies that normally protect the placenta become confused and attack the skin, causing blisters to form.

“At first, when I was told I was allergic to my own baby I thought it was some sort of joke,” said Mackie. “But when it sank in I was totally devastated. It felt like my world had caved in. It was such a heartbreaking time. I had to watch while my husband gave our son his first bath. And in those first few weeks when James cried I had to watch as my husband picked him up to comfort him instead of me.” Fortunately, a month after doctors treated her allergy using strong steroids, Mackie finally was able to hold her baby without feeling any pain. “I have been told there is a 95 percent chance I will get this in my next pregnancy and this time the doctors say it could affect the baby. I am not sure I could put myself through it all again,” said Mackie. “But I have learned that a cuddle from your own child is the most precious thing in the world. Now I can cradle my little lad, it’s heaven. I never want to let him go.”
Pemphigoid gestationis often appears in pregnancy during the second or third trimester and/or immediately after birth. It is usually treated with a course of corticosteroids like prednisone.

Protest across Chicago as black teen is shot 16 times by white cop, as he lay on the ground

By     No comments:

The video of the shooting of 17-year-old Laquan McDonald (pictured inset) has been released and it's chilling. The dashcam footage shows a white police officer, Jason Van Dyke, (pictured inset right) shooting Laquan dead on the streets of Chicago. He shot Laquan 16 times at point blank range for 13 seconds as the young man laid motionless on the ground with smoke rising from his back.

The police officer claimed he felt threatened by the teenager and that was why he used his gun but he has since been charged with first-degree murder.

Yesterday, hundreds of protesters took to the streets after watching the video of the shooting which was released last night. They chanted '16 shots' and formed human blockades across roads in Chicago. Other demonstrators gathered outside police stations
