Wizkid vs Dammy Krane: Dammy Krane Apologise To His Fans As He Revealed What Wizkid Stole From Him
This news came in before the alleged fight at Quilnox nightclub.
Dammy krane has apologised to his fans for the rant.
On January 12, Dammy Krane called out Wizkid on Twitter, referring to him as a “b##ch nigga”.
“…I was about to loose it and f**k him up but they even had to beg me,no time to form I am the streets!!#industreet#”, the Hypertek act wrote on Twitter.
According to him, he had looked the other way for a long time as Wizkid stole his songs – chorus and verses, but could not bottle it up anymore.
In his Instagram post today, Jan. 14, Dammy Kane claims Wizzy’s popular chorus,“Park, baby pull over” from KCEE’s ‘Pull Over’ song belongs to him, and Wizkid’s “Baba nla” – chorus and verse.
However, Wizkid did not respond to the allegations.

A couple of days ago, news hit that one of the P-Square brothers, Peter Okoye wasn’t feeling too good as he lay ill in bed. The father-of-2 has now shared new photos of himself undergoing a CT scan and pleaded with his fans to pray for him.
He shared a photo of himself going into the machine, commenting:
“Went for a computed tomography scan today… Try to make sure am 100% fit and ok… It hasn’t been easy for me for the past few weeks. Thanks so much guys for the prayers,love and support#Pray4me.
“I have never been a sick person that much, but am just making sure everything is ok with me. But I guess it’s more like stress and i need more rest. #GodTakeControl #Pray4me love you all”.

Singer Celine Dion's brother has a few hours to live after battling cancer
R&B legend, Celine Dion, most be going through one of the worst periods of her life as her brother, , has been revealed to have a few hours to live after battling with Cancer for a while now. This news comes on the heels of the death of the singer's husband and manager, René Angélil, who had also lost his battle against Cancer at age 73.
Angélil had reportedly died after a drawn out battle with throat Cancer, January 14.
The couple had gotten married on December 17, 1994 and have 3 sons: René-Charles, 15, and five-year-old twins, Eddy andNelson.
Sadly, Celine's older brother, Daniel, 59, is hospitalised at Montreal, Celine's native home, surrounded by family and loved ones, including 88-year-old mother, Therese.
Members of Daniels family are reported to have gathered by his side after he had been revealed to be 'dying'.

Kafayat Oluwatoyin Ameh said she did not witness what happened or stage or the green room for the artistes because she was in her own green room.
She stated she was not happy about the incident and she does not condone Olamide’s behaviour.
“Fortunately for me I was not anywhere near that area. I was waiting in my green room. I heard the scenario. I am not happy about it. I remember a couple of years back when I introduced Olamide to the Hip TV family so for me I will not condone any kind of behaviour in that manner” said Kaffy in an interview with Hip TV.

So he probably allowed anger to take over him for a moment, and that moment was all over the world unfortunately, but I am sure it is not going to happen again.“
According to reports the rapper and his crew vandalized the green room for artistes at the award ceremony.
The pair quickly settled their differences in a meeting organized by Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote.

Veteran Hollywood actor, Leonardo DiCaprio, has opened up on how he feels about his 5th Oscar nomination following his role in the new hit movie, Revenant.
The 41-yr-old actor has made it clear that winning the Oscar award would be an“icing on the cake” as he has worked as hard as he possibly could.
Speaking on the role he played in the movie with This Morning, DiCaprio revealed that:
“I do know that it’s completely beyond my control at this point. It’s interesting, because that’s not why you do the work, you know? You do the work because you love making movies and you want to look back and have a filmography that you’re proud of.

FG pledges special attention to tertiary institutions' welfare
The Federal Government has promised to accord special attention to infrastructure and staff development in all federal tertiary institutions in the country.
The Minister of Education, Alhaji Adamu Adamu, made the pledge on Saturday in Pankshin, near Jos in Plateau, at the 25th to 33rd convocation ceremony of the Federal College of Education (FCE), Pankshin.
Adamu, who was represented by Prof. Monday Joshua, Executive Secretary of the National Commission for Colleges of Education (NCCE), said that what was required of the education sector was to key into various ``change initiatives’’ of the government.
``Evidence shows that the strongest among the education system in the world are those that trained and recruited the best teachers.
``I urge our teacher training institutions to explore and expand the educational offerings that will cater for the all-round formation of their trainees, ’’ he said.
The minister noted that ``the change agenda of the present administration will be highly successful if the teachers we produce, especially for primary and junior secondary levels are excellent ’’.
He stated that President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration was committed to rebuilding the economy and restoring public confidence in government, ``in spite of the global economic recession affecting the nation''.
While congratulating the graduands, the minister charged them not to rest on their oars.
``You must strive to acquire more knowledge to better your lots and add more feathers to your cap,'' he said
Also speaking, Plateau Governor Mr Simon Lalong appealed to the Federal Government to enlist institutions being upgraded into Universities of Education.
Lalong, who was represented by his deputy, Prof. Sonny Tyeoden, argued that facilities and manpower were available, ``especially with TETfund assisting the schools to tackle infrastructural challenges and training needs''.
The Provost of the college, Prof. David Wonang, disclosed that 8,000 graduands were convoking at the college, ``in spite of many challenges''.
Wonang expressed his gratitude to the Federal Government for using TETfund to stimulate infrastructural development in the college, declaring that the institution would soon be fit to become a university.
He disclosed that the college, which began in 1974, with just 100 students, now had a population of 14,000 students with seven schools and six directorates all awarding degrees and NCE certificates

JAMB Extends The 2016/2017 Registration To Jan 31
The closing date for the registration of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) as announced by JAMB, has been extended till 31st January.
We therefore wish to advise all JAMB candidates who are yet to purchase their 2016 UTME forms to do so on or before January 31st, 2016.
This also extends to candidates who are still waiting for supplementary or additional list of their choice schools for the 2015/2016 admission year to be released.
It is always a bad idea to have all your eggs in one basket. There is no 100% guarantee that your name will appear on the list even if the school eventually releases it.
To be on a safe side, get the JAMB form before it expires. That way, even if you miss the 2015/2016 admission, you will still stand a chance in the 2016/2017 session.

Militants continue bombing in Delta, blow up flow station & Chevron pipelines
Looks like militants are taking advantage of the call for the arrest Tompolo to cause mayhem in the Niger Delta region. Today, they continued with their bombing of oil installations in Warri South West LGA of Delta. They reportedly blew up the Abiteye flow station and Sagara to Chevron pipelines.
Many residents of the area have fled while some are said to be trapped. Tompolo has since denied being involved in the bombings
Lassa Fever: 2 die in Ondo state, 30 people quarantined
Two people have died in Ondo state following an outbreak of Lassa fever in the stat. 30 people who had contact with the victims when alive, have been quarantined in order to curtail any further spread.
The state Commissioner for Health, Dayo Adeyanju, and a team of health workers had since Wednesday been moving across the local governments of the state to raise awareness on the disease and educate residents on measures to check the outbreak.
Al-Qaida attack on Burkina Faso hotel leaves at least 20 dead, 33 rescued
Up to 20 people are reported to have been killed and 15 wounded in explosions and gunfire around the hotel in Ouagadougou, which witnesses reported was partly on fire.
Around 10 vehicles were on fire in the streets near the 146-room Splendid Hotel.
The Burkina Faso government said on Twitter that 33 people had been freed after commandos stormed the hotel, including minister Clement Sawadogo.
Both the hotel and the cafe are popular with United Nations staff and foreigners. It is located in a busy central area of the capital, not far from the airport.
"First, they set fire to the vehicles to the surroundings before entering the hotel. "They are wearing turbans and in masks. They all had beards. "They said they were acting on behalf of the Islamic State."Mr Diallo also said there were between 100 to 150 people in the hotel at the time of the attack as many guests were having dinner.
Another eyewitness, named only as Mathieu, said:
"I was en route to the Akino Faso hotel, arriving at Kwame Nkrumah I saw some cars coming front the other direction which shot at the hotel.
"When I continued towards the hotel there was a (V8) which blocked the way but there was a small space to pas through so I went through it.
"At the same tome I saw three men in turbans with Kalashnikovs who came out of the hotel and started to shoot at the air about 10metres from me.
"I fled from the situation, but I had the time to see two bodies on the floor outside Cappuccino cafe, they were white people.
"At the same moment, there was an explosion in the hotel. "It was not a shot, it was an explosion. "
"So I circumvented the hotel and tried to look for my mother and ask her if we could go back to hers.
"When I passed Kwame Nkurumah again to leave, a man in front of me took a bullet through his passenger door.
"He opened the door and fell out of his car. A firefighter who passed by had seen him and got out to help him. "While I looked for a way to escape there was a disturbance in the street and people started shooting to clear people way. "When I left there was still no order in the place."

First Case Of Lassa Fever Confirmed In Lagos
The Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), Idi-Araba, Lagos has confirmed the first case of Lassa fever in Lagos State.
According to the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC), Dr. Olufemi Fasanmade, the patient is isolated at the Accident and Emergency (A&E) unit of the hospital.
Fasanmade said, “containment area being devised, ribavirin available. We will use theatre in A&E as isolation ward. No need to panic. But limit movement to A&E if not necessary. Our trained staff on ground.” Minister of Healt!h, Isaac Adewole, who made this known, said the patient is a 25 year old student of the Ahmadu Bello University who traveled from Zaria. He said the patient has now been isolated at the Accident and Emergency (A&E) unit of the hospital.
Bola Tinubu - "Why I collected N9million from Dasuki"
The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and owner of the Nation Newspaper, Bola Tinubu, has returned his own share of the N9 million received from the Office of the National Security Adviser, ONSA, through the Newspaper Proprietor Association of Nigeria, NPAN.
This is coming after the Sun Newspaper also surrendered its own share to the Federal Government and as the Punch Newspaper also suspended its membership from the association following its involvement in the arms scandal.
Recall that investigations from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, had traced a suspicious transfer of funds from the former NSA, Sambo Dasuki to Newspaper outlets including Tinubu’s own Nation Newspaper.
Obviously embarrassed by the trend of events following the arms scandal, Tinubu may have pressed on his company directors to file an explanation and immediately return his own share of N9 million received.
“We are again compelled to comment on the N9 million received by Vintage Press Limited as compensation from the government of ex- President Goodluck Jonathan through the Newspapers Proprietors Association of Nigeria (NPAN) for the seizure of our publications, The Nation and Sporting Life in June, 2014.
“We do this for two reasons. First, to restate the sequence of events that culminated in the payment , thereby debunking insinuations about the motive for the compensation. Second, to inform the public that the N9 million collected from NPAN on behalf of the Jonathan government has been returned to the association .
“This decision was arrived at on Wednesday by the Board and Management of Vintage Press Limited after a painstaking examination of the legal and moral issues arising from the compensation.”
