Famous Yoruba actress, Olajumoke Odetola has revealed that she thinks boyfriends and romantic relationships are distractions for success.

In a current chat with Punch Newspaper, the Best Indigenous Act (Yoruba) at the 2016 Africa Movies Viewers Choice Awards said though she would eventually settle down and marry one day, it’s currently not in her plans.

The Binta Ofege star also hinted that though she has many admirers and men asking her out, she prefers to be married to her career till she attains the zenith of her career.

In her words, ‘I am not married, but I am married to my career at the moment because I do not want any distraction. For now, no boyfriends. I have many ‘toasters’ but it is not yet time for me to be in a relationship. It is not that I am turning down offers;  basically in life, you have to set goals and have plans. Right now, I don’t even see it as what I want, I just want to focus on my career, I don’t want any distraction for myself.’

IPOB Members Are Responsible For Death Of Five Hausa-Fulani Residents In Abia State - DSS

The Department of State Services (DSS) has accused the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) of killing five Hausa residents of Abia state.

According to Tony Opuiyo, an agent of the DSS, members of IPOB, whose leader Nnamdi Kanu is facing trial for treason, killed the five “northerners” and buried them in shallow graves.

“The service has uncovered the heinous role played by members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), in the abduction/kidnap of five Hausa-Fulani residents, namely Mohammed Gainako, Ibrahim Mohammed, Idris Yakubu, and Isa Mohammed Rago at Isuikwuato LGA in Abia state,” he said in a statement on Saturday.

“The abducted men were later discovered at the Umuanyi forest, Abia state, where they were suspected to have been killed by their abductors and buried in shallow graves, amidst fifty (50) other shallow graves of unidentified persons. Arrest and investigation conducted so far, revealed that elements within the IPOB, carried out this dastardly action.

“It is pertinent therefore to alert the general public that IPOB, is gradually showing its true divisive colour and objectives, while steadily embarking on gruesome actions in a bid to ignite ethnic terrorism and mistrust amongst non-indigenes in the southeast region and other parts of the country. Following this act, tension is currently rife among communal stakeholders in the state, with possibilities of spillover to other parts of country.

“Against the foregoing, the service will not hesitate to act decisively within its statutory mandate to ensure that the sponsors and perpetrators of this action are apprehended and prosecuted for their crime. Accordingly, law-abiding citizens are enjoined to go about their civil duties and businesses freely, as efforts are being intensified by security agencies to maintain law and order in the state and across the federation.”

Social media personality, Kemi Olunloyo has continued her rants in various interviews.

She has now gone on to say that popular blogger, Linda Ikeji broke up a relationship between her cousin and popular On Air Personality, Dan Foster.

Ms Olunloyo made the claim during a recent interview.

“I have a lot of history with Linda. She was the one that came between my cousin’s wedding and Dan Foster.” Ms Olunloyo said.

“Dan Foster and Deola Olunloyo, my cousin, were going to get married and the wedding was cancelled three weeks to the wedding because of a model called Linda Ikeji. She wrecked the home, she was having an affair with Dan,” she added.

Ms Olunloyo also said that Linda is 41-years-old and not 35.

“She’s not 30-something, Linda is 41. The age on Wikipedia is a lie. She’s 41, I have my very good sources. If I don’t I won’t say things out,” she said.

According to Linda’s page on Wikipedia, she was born on September 19, 1980.
