Niger state claims 1million names are missing from the Permanent Voters Card list

By     No comments:

The APC, in a statement by its spokesman in Niger state, Jonathan Vatsa, said it discovered that the particulars of voters in seven wards of Shiroro, Gbako and other local government areas were missing and that the voters might not get their PVC. He also called for the removal or redeployment of the state's INEC commissioner.
"The truth is that the areas excluded from the PVC collection have always been the stronghold of APC in previous elections in the state. The inference now falls in perspective on why in the last Niger-East by-elections some of our supporters could not cast their votes because their names were missing from the voter register."
What worries us in the APC is that INEC said that there should be continuous voter registration. The pertinent question is, what becomes of those who have earlier registered but their names could not be traced on the INEC register, as many of our supporters may be disenfranchised before 2015 general elections thereby giving way for rigging and all other manipulations of elections Niger State is notorious for.

We are not sure of the neutrality of the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr Emmanuel Onucheyo, who has subjected himself to the whims and caprices of the government in power. That has justified our previous call that if a free and fair election is to be conducted in Niger State the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state must be removed or redeployed to where his material craving will be tolerated,' the statement said.

Photos: Couple caught having sex in a car park

By     No comments:

They couldn't wait to get home? A horny couple was filmed by an on-looker having sex at the popular Bluewater shopping complex car park in Kent, UK, last week. Kent's official twitter handle @Kent_999s said the man and woman started off by kissing and before they knew what was going on, the man pulled down the woman's jeans and they started having sex right there while leaning against a black Citroen car.

The guy who took the photo shared them on Kent's Twitter page and explained what he'd just witnessed. Of course, it got a lot of re-tweets...and the attention of police. The police have so far not gotten involved though having sex in a public place is an offense. See another photos after the cut...

[Photo] : ISIS Behead Another American Hostage!

By     No comments:

A video reportedly released by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria on Sunday showed the beheading of an American hostage, Peter Kassig.

Former US soldier and aide worker Peter Kassig, a 26 year-old former U.S. Soldier had converted to Islam in captivity and also went by the name Abdul Rahman Kassig.

Following his return to civilian life, he became an aid worker in Syria, where he was captured and held hostage for over a year.

ISIS had threatened to kill Kassig in a previous video which showed the beheading of British aid worker, Alan Henning.

The US says it is working to determine the authenticity of the video, which also shows a mass killing of Syrian troops.
The US government confirmed his killing in a statement today after reviewing a video ISIS released that purported to show the beheading. The 26 year old Indianapolis man was captured in eastern Syria on Oct. 1, 2013, while delivering relief supplies for the aid group he founded.

Erm, Kanye West had a threesome with Kim K and Amber Rose?

Erm, Kanye West had a threesome with Kim K and Amber Rose?

So Kanye has a scandalous secret that he's using to control Kim? That's what In Touch is claiming..

From Radar Online

Kanye West likes to call the shots in his career, but his desire to be in charge also extends to the home front — and his wife, Kim Kardashian.
Keeping Kim in check shouldn’t be too big of a deal, especially since he’s holding a huge secret over her head: She once engaged in a tawdry threesome, reports In Touch.
Though the reality star’s rep denied the tryst, In Touch claims that multiple insiders dished on how Kardashian cheated on a longtime boyfriend with Kanye, 37, and another woman who just happens to also be famous. “Kanye was obsessed with Kim and wanted to have a three-way with her, and she didn’t hesitate,” said one source.
“Kim and Kanye had already been seeing each other behind her boyfriend’s back, and Kanye brought this other woman into it.”
The only problem? “The other woman ended up getting jealous of Kim because Kanye was more into Kim than he was into her,” says the source.

Why I Rejected World Cup Bonus – Courtney Dike

By     No comments:

Falconets’ forward, Courtney Dike has cleared the air on why she rejected the bonus paid to her for representing Nigeria at the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup finals in Canada. And according to her, it was due to rules governing her status as a student athlete under the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA).

The NCAA is the governing body of all college sports in the United States of America. An acceptance of the bonus would have meant 19 year old Courtney losing her almost $35,000 annual football scholarship at the Oklahoma State University under NCAA rules.

Dike, a business accounting major, released her statement via the office of the media officer of the Nigeria Football Federation on Tuesday. She wrote:
“I would like to respond to what I have been reading on the internet about rejecting bonuses. I am delighted to play for Nigeria whenever called upon. I knew before leaving for the U-20 World Cup that I would not accept any bonuses. Acceptance of prize money is against NCAA regulations (the division 1 collegiate governing body) here in the US, so that is the main reason for rejecting it.
Knowing this beforehand, I still chose to represent the country because I believed the experience would be more valuable than the money, and I was right,” she said.
Dike scored two goals, including the tournament’s fastest ever goal, as the Falconets reached the final where they lost 1-0 to Germany. - See more at: http://www.lailasblog.com/2014/11/why-i-rejected-world-cup-bonus-courtney.html#sthash.ZBnBFdbG.dpuf

CAF drops Morocco as host of 2015 African Cup of Nations, throws out Morrocan team

By     No comments:

The Confederation of African Football CAF
today dropped Morocco as host of the
2015 African Cup of Nations which is
billed to start from Jan 17th-Feb 9th
2015. At an executive committee meeting
which held this morning in Cairo Egypt,
CAF's leadership said the decision to drop
Morocco was as a result of the Moroccan
authority's request to postpone the
competition due to Ebola fears.
CAF leadership says they cannot
postpone the competition and have
withdrawn the rights of Morroco to host it.
The Morrocan national team was also
flung out of the competition. Find the
statement from CAF as posted on their
website after the cut...
At its meeting on 11th November 2014 in
Cairo, the Executive Committee of the
Confederation of African Football (CAF)
has taken note of the response of the
Minister of Youth and Sports of the
Kingdom of Morocco in a letter dated 8
November 2014 requesting the
postponement of the Orange Africa Cup of
Nations in 2015.
This response clearly indicates that the
Royal Moroccan Football Federation
reiterated its refusal to hold the
competition on the dates indicated
(January 17-February 8, 2015).
Therefore, having firmly and unanimously
notified on 3 November its decision to
keep the competition on the dates
indicated, the Executive Committee
confirmed that the Orange Africa Cup of
Nations 2015 will not take place in
Morocco.
The Organising Committee of the Orange
Africa Cup of Nations will later apply the
statutory provisions that are required due
to a breach of the Royal Moroccan
Football Federation regulatory and
contractual provisions, including those set
out in the Host Association Agreement
signed between CAF and the Royal
Moroccan Football Federation in April
2014.
The Executive Committee took note of
receipt by 10 November, 2014 of some
applications of national associations
confirming their desire to host the 2015
competition on the dates agreed. These
applications are currently under review,
and the Executive Committee will finalize
the selection of the successful National
Association shortly and confirm the place
and date of the draw of the final
tournament at the same time.
The Executive Committee confirms the
continuation of qualifiers match-days 5 &
6, which will be held during the month
(14/15 November and 19 November),
paving the way for the qualification of the
15 teams that will be joining the team of
the host country. Accordingly, and
following the refusal of the Moroccan
party, the Executive Committee has
decided that the national team of Morocco
is automatically disqualified and will not
take part in the 30th edition of the Orange
Africa Cup of Nations in 2015.
