Omawunmi Finally Reacts To smoking allegation...reveals she has forgiven interviewer

Powerful Nigerian singer, Omawumi has finally opened up on her controversial interview on “Da Chat” with Zinnia, a show produced by HF TV.
The “If You Ask Me” star has revealed that she has forgiven Zinnia for basically putting her morality to question after she called Omawumi a smoker.
Omawumi shocked everyone when she immediately stormed out of the interview set after being asked about the effect of her smoking in public, knowing that she is a role model to many.
The singer who had been visibly upset, had asked the interviewer for proof that she smoked, of which Zinnia could not produce any.
Omawumi has now revealed that although she is upset, she has decided to let the incident go, as she just wants to have fun rather than attend rehearsals.
She made the revelation via her Instagram page, where she shared a video of the cartoon, ‘Frozen’, with the caption:
“Arms open wide like my daughter singing loudly ‘Let it go’ Mood. I’m supposed to rehearse today but I’m thinking of doing something fun.”
Of course, Omawumi would not be the first to storm out of an interview following an upsetting question and many have shown support for her action.

  The Daily Mail UK is reporting that former Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho has refused to wait another year for Manchester United job with club staff expecting Louis van Gaal to STAY on.
The respected British tabloid wrote on Friday morning: “Jose Mourinho will not wait for Manchester United if they decide to postpone bringing him in to replace manager Louis van Gaal beyond this summer.”
Daily Mail UK says that despite a difficult season clouded by speculation, Old Trafford staff believe Van Gaal will now stay on for the final year of his contract.
“That would mean Mourinho having to hold off taking the United hot seat until 2017-18, a wait he is not prepared to put up with,” it wrote.
As recently as last month, Mourinho confirmed that he would be back in management this summer but refused to confirm a destination despite saying he hoped to stay in England.
“I am not in position to turn down [jobs],” Mourinho said. “I am in a position to analyse, this is April, everything starts in July, every decision is made between May and the start of June.
“I am not in a position to deny, I am open to any club, national team, but I have to be honest, if possible, a club.
“I would prefer [to stay England]. I love the country, the football here, my family is very stable and happy.”

According to Vanguard, the ex-singer begged Tiwa Savage to return to her husband quietly despite the emotional pains she’s going through at the moment because TeeBillz is under serious attack from the pit of hell, and as such, Tiwa should not allow the devil to use her husband to destroy her future.
Speaking further, he said:-
“It’s one thing to be famous and it’s another to know how to manage fame. I want her (Tiwa Savage) to go back to her husband immediately because there is no divorce spiritually except when the man is no more. I want her to know that if God wants to announce any woman that is matured, He will always match her with a man. In this case, that is what God has done for her.”
“I want Tiwa Savage to begin to understand that whatever is happening to her now is an attack from the pit of hell. Her husband is in deep trouble. I am sure that his pastor has not been able to tell him that he’s under attack. The devil may not attack you directly, it will attack your partner. Spiritually, as I am seeing it, her husband (TeeBillz) is under attack.
“Every behaviour her husband is exhibiting now is manipulated. The Bible says, you have to be there for your husband, and your husband will be there for you. Whatever that is going on now, remains the fact that your husband is being manipulated by spiritual forces that doesn’t want you to grow. On the first episode of MTV Base’s ‘The Bigger Friday Show, Davido got pranked and his reaction was priceless.
A new season of popular Friday night comedy programme “The Bigger Friday Show” made its debut on Friday, April 29, 2016.
The first episode featured Davido pranked with the help of fellow HKN artiste, B-Red.
In the episode, a group of men arrived Davido’s house to demand for a refund of the money they paid into his account for a show. According to the strangers, the “Aye” singer failed to show up.
Reacting to the allegations, an angry Davido came down to meet the men, with Davido saying “don’t ever tell me to come down in my house again.“

3 feared dead after clash between Hausa and Igbo traders at Ariaria market

No fewer than three persons have been confirmed dead after a fight broke out between Hausa and Igbo traders at the popular Ariaria market in Aba, Abia state this afternoon. According one of the traders, trouble started after an Ibo trader cautioned an Hausa trader who urinated close to his shop.

This degenerated into an argument which turned physical. Supporters of both traders then turned the disagreement into a free for all fight.Reports reaching us states that Three traders were reportedly stabbed to death,while an Hausa trader was set ablaze by mobs at the scene. The state police spokesperson, Onyeka Ezekiel, said the police brought the situation under control.

Teebillz Set For Rehab

Tunji ‘Teebillz’ Balogun, husband of singer Tiwa Savage has maintained virtual radio silence since his social media rant last week and his wife’s subsequent interview.


THENETNG has now confirmed those close to him are working to help him recuperate and get rehabilitation.

As Tiwa said in her Interview, Teebillz has not lived in their home for about two weeks and after his suicide attempt last week, he’s hibernated at Banky W‘s home in Lekki.

THENETNG confirmed last night that his close friends have now moved him to an apartment in 1004 estate in Victoria Island, Lagos, with the support of popular promoter Paul Okoye.

‘Everyone says he’s in a good place now, getting all the love and support he needs’, a friend told THENETNG.

‘They want him to have his life back. He’s definitely going into rehab.’

‘His family in US are really praying for him and his close friends in Lagos are making efforts to get him to rehab’, a source told THENETNG.

Nigerian Entertainment Today confirmed that some of the close friends supporting and advising him include Paul Okoye, Psquare‘s Peter, Banky W, CECIL HAMMOND and Omawumi‘s husband, Tosin Yusuf.

Meanwhile his estranged wife Tiwa Savage is already back at work, with multiple sources confirming she was in a video set over the holidays. Those close to her say she’s ‘trying her best to stay strong and positive, and she’s not taking her mind off her work and her son- even for a minute.’

On Friday 4 May 2012, at the age of 48, Rasheed Yekini passed away after a brief but serious illness. Nigeria’s record goalscorer (37 goals) ensured his name went down in the history books when he scored the Super Eagles’ first ever FIFA World Cup™ goal at the 1994 finals in the USA in the 3-0 group stage win over Bulgaria. 

FIFA.com looks back on his memorable goal and subsequent celebration. Yekini who played for several clubs in Spain, Greece, Portugal and Switzerland, could hardly believe he had scored and spontaneously grabbed the net, shaking it in celebration. 

The photo of the 58-time Nigeria international captivated the world and even today the former striker, who in 1993 was the first Nigerian to be voted African Footballer of the Year, remains a respected figure in the global football family. 

“Rasheed Yekini was one of the best players at the 1994 FIFA World Cup in the USA,” said former FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter when he learned of Yekini’s death. “Against Bulgaria he scored Nigeria’s first ever FIFA World Cup goal, a strike that will earn him a place in the annals of Nigerian football. He will be sorely missed.”
