U.S President Trump Bans Transgender People from the US Army

The United States of America’s leader has barred transgender people from being a part of the country’s military on some grounds.

In a series of tweets posted on his very busy handle @realDonaldTrump, the president said the ban was necessitated by the “medical costs and disruption” transgender people cause.

“After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the US Military,” he wrote.

After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow......
....Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military. Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming.....

....victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you

Like much else President Trump has been obsessed with since assuming office in January, his latest policy is a roll back of Obama administration-era rules that loosened restrictions on transgender people to serve in the US military.

It also overrules the claim weeks ago by Defence Secretary, Jim Mattis that the Pentagon was giving the military another six months to conduct a review to determine if allowing transgender individuals to enlist in the armed services would impact its “readiness and lethality”
This puts the fate of about 2,450 transgender personnel in the US Army in the balance after they were allowed to serve openly in the US military, receive medical care, and start formally changing their gender identity in the Pentagon’s personnel system since October.

Expectedly, the President has been flayed on social media, with many Americans labeling him a ‘coward’ and ‘draft dodger’, while LGBTQ media advocacy organisaiton, GLAAD, accuse him of trying to ‘erase’ their kind from the country.
It is not yet clear though how he intends to implement the controversial ban, what with his equally contentious Muslim ban still being contested in court.

Discrimination isn’t patriotic. Members of our armed services deserve better than Pres Trump’s shameful transgender ban.
To all transgender people in America. You are not a 'burden'and President Trump is a Caveman with cash!Do not let this horrific view beat u!
Trump chooses bigotry over security. Shutting out transgender Americans who want to serve our country makes us less safe, not safer.

Simply being transgender in this ugly world requires an incredible amount of bravery & strength. Trump is a coward, and also a draft dodger.

transgender people show more courage when they leave their fucking houses in the morning than donald trump has shown his entire life

Upcoming Actors Now Pay 500k - 1mn To Nollywood Producers For Lead Roles

I was with a celebrity and we were discussing this new trend, and a friend also with us was a victim, now it is getting to the extreme, that it is now talked about everywhere, Several people said that it's the girls they refer to as 'runz girls' looking for popularity that started this trend.

They would offer movie producers money to feature in their movie so they can refer to themselves as actresses and now it's become a part of Nollywood. This sounds so weird but it is true.

According to our source ,A-list Nollywood actors & actresses get paid for featuring in movies, but if you're an unknown actor struggling to get into the movie industry, some movie producers make you pay to feature in their movies.

That's the new trend now. If you're looking to feature in a movie, all you need to do is pay a fee, no audition is required. For minor roles, these producers demand anything from N50k to N100k...it all depends on the role they are giving you.

If you want to play a lead role it's between N500k to N1million. Waka pass people are even made to pay. The trick some of these producers use is this; they say they are not making money from these movies because people aren't buying them so can't invest all their money in it.

They also say finding financiers to pay for the production of a movie is hard, so for these movies to see the light of day, every cast member has to contribute. Thing is, many are eager to pay.
