All the candidates who applied for admission into Yaba College of Technology, can now check their admission status online. From your PC that is connected to the Internet, goto the school portal by Clicking Here:http://www.yabatech.edu.ng/ step 2. When the web portal loads up, click on the “Admission list” step 3. 8 year old wonder kid AmarachiUyanne, winner of the first edition of Nigeria's Got Talent Reality Show has just released the video to her first single “Amarachi Dance”. The video was Styled and Scripted By ToyinLawani, CEO of TiannahStyling.

For the “Amarachi Dance” video, the 8 year old had various outfit changes, which were all custom designed by Elegante By TiannahStyling kids line known as EleganteKidz.


Outfit choices and inspiration include an Indian outfit inspired by Alaadin story for kids, black leather outfit with galaxy tee shirt- made to give Amarachi a toned down rock star look, a hip hop look with white trousers- inspired by Amarachi’sdance song, a gold ballet outfit- inspired by her ballet dance performance at Nigeria's Got Talent and a school uniform ensemble that goes with the school scene in the music video. The ‘Mohawk’ hair style was carefully chosen by ToyinLawanito compliment the various looks and was inspired by American child music star Willow Smith.

According to reports, popular television presenter and host of 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' TV game show, Frank Edoho was in Arochukwu, in Abia State on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 for his traditional wedding to his new lover, Sandra Onyenenecheya.
The couple were said to have lodged at a hotel in Abia called 'Brick House' and left very early on Thursday after the wedding. They have reportedly been spotted together in Paris, France. 
Few years ago, Frank divorced his former wife, Kathrine, who is also a broadcaster. They had children for each other. 
Their marriage crashed over domestic violence claim.

Photos: Kano State Govt conducts mass wedding for 1,111 people

A total of 1,111 mass weddings involving Muslim and Christian faithfuls was conducted yesterday at various churches and at the Central Mosque in Kano state. This mass wedding is the fourth in the series since its inception in 2011.

Coordinated by the Kano state Hisbah board, a sharia based police system mandated to check indiscipline and social vices amongst the citizenry, the intending couples were all subjected to various forms of test at the Aminu Kano General hospital before their union was formally carried out. 

Speaking to newsmen, the Director General of the Kano State Hisbah Board, Alhaji Abba Sufi said Christians who signified interest were joined together in their various churches and the requirements for their celebration was provided for by the state government.

The first mass wedding was conducted with a total of 100 couple, the second 250 couple and the third edition was a thousand couple. See more photos

Nigerian doctors begin 5-day warning strike

Nigerian doctors today began a 5-day warning strike following a 21-day ultimatum issued weeks ago to the federal government, demanding pay rise, improved welfare, infrastructure and other benefits which was promised to them.

The President of the Nigerian Medical Association, Dr Osahon Enabulele said this is the first phase of the strike, that the second phase would be effective after the yuletide if there are no favorable developments.

Justin Beiber announces his retirement from music

Rave of the moment singer and the girls man Justin Beiber 19, revealed he is taking a step back from the music industry when his new album, Journals, is released next week, and it could be permanent.

Reports say Justin had told radio station Power 106 in Los Angeles, California, on Tuesday:
'After the new album, I'm actually retiring man. I'm retiring.
When the radio hosts reacted in shock/surprised, Justin backtracked slightly suggesting he has not quite made up his mind: 
'I want to grow as an artist and I'm taking a step out, I want my music to mature.'
TMZ, however, says a source confirmed to them that the 19-year-old was just joking and has no plans to permanently hang up his microphone.
Justin's talk of retirement is coming a day before his documentary Believe is premiered in Los Angeles.

Karen has always been a victim of fans backlash and earlier today she posted @Karen_Igho: I have cancer. Are you guys happy? A fan quickly blasted her and Karen couldn't hold it and went on to give series of tweets that sounded worrisome although she later deleted them.
