Alison Parker, 24, (left) and Photojournalist Adam Ward (right) with WDBJ7 TV, were shot dead by a gunman yesyerday morning August 26th around 6.45am (local time) while reporting live on air at Bridgewater Plaza, Moneta, Virginia. The crew was carrying out an interview when gunshots were fired. Adam was first shot dead and Alison was killed as she tried to run. Alison graduated from college in 2012. The lady they were interviewing is in critical condition in the hospital.
The gunman is at large but the cameraman captured the killer on camera as he fell after being shot as his camera was still running. The motive for the shooting is not known. See the photo after the cut...
