Desmond Elliot To Take Movie Break And Face Politics Squarely

Veteran Nollywood actor and producer, Desmond Elliot has announced he’ll be going on a temporary break from acting.

The popular actor who’s now a politician revealed the shocking news during a recent interview.

Desmond Elliot revealed that he won’t be appearing or releasing any film in the next four years.

Explaining his decision to stay clear of his first love, the Elliot said he wants to take some time off to focus on his new job as a lawmaker.

“There is no acting in all I do now, it’s the job as a legislator and doing work to ensure that there is a better structure in the industry,” he said

I guess we all saw this coming since he won his a seat at the Lagos state house of assembly.
