In view of the protests and agitation for a Biafra Republic, President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, at the Council Chambers of Aso Rock in Abuja while launching the 2016 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem and Appeal Fund said that Nigerians are determined to remain together as a united country just as the pro-Biafra protests continued in Umuahia, the Abia State capital and at Nnamdi Kanu’s home.
Meanwhile Nnamdi Kanu who is the Director of Radio Biafra, is still being detained by the Federal Government.
According to the President, Nigeria just celebrated 55 years of political independence and will continue to remain as one indivisible entity despite the current situation in the country.
He emphasized the fact that the country had witnessed a lot of internal strife, survived a civil war and remained united since independence was an “eloquent testimony” to the determination of Nigerians to remain as one Nigeria.
Meanwhile Nnamdi Kanu who is the Director of Radio Biafra, is still being detained by the Federal Government.
