Ghana Striker Asamoah Gyan has denied allegation of an ugly rape scandal. Naijaloaded understands.
The former Sunderland hit man was accused, last week, of an attempted rape on a Sarah Kwablah by Ghanaian lawyer Dr Maurice Ampaw.
Gyan, 30, who currently plays in Shanghai SIPG, has vehemently denied forcefully having anal s*x with Sarah.
Dr Maurice Ampaw told a court hearing that ‘Gyan forcefully had anal s*x with Sarah, got her pregnant and asked for an abortion in exchange for ‘any amount of money.’
Asamoah Gyan replied the accusations via a press conference, through his lawyer, Kusi Agyabeng, calling the allegations ‘the most ludicrous media tirade’ in Ghana’s history.
“The young woman lodged a complaint in June 2015 of rape under natural canal knowledge against Asamoah Gyan at the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit of the Ghana Police Service at the ministries, Accra,” He said.
“The docket was transferred to the headquarters of the criminal investigation department in Accra.”

“In plain language, Asamoah Gyan has been cleared of all of Sarah Kwablah’s allegations of rape and sodomy,” Gyan’s lawyer said in apparent assurance that the Criminal Investigation Department in Accra has scrutinized the case and cleared the 30-year old Ghanaian international of any wrong doing.
“Ordinarily, we would not have bothered to address the media. However lives are involved and reputations have been affected. Right must be put right and wrong must be put in it’s place.” He concluded.
