Abia State Governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu is bereaved, his lovely mother Deaconess Betsy Ikpeazu died at the morning hours of Sunday at University Teaching Hospital Ituku-Ozara, Enugu. She was 87 years old.
Late Mrs Ikpeazu, a registered nurse lived with a valve in her heart for 20years. She returned to Nigeria from her base in United State of America in May ahead of her son's swearing in ceremony as the 4th duly democratically elected governor of Abia State.
