America Legalises Gay Marriage

The US Supreme Court made same-sex marriage legal throughout the nation Friday in a much-awaited landmark decision that triggered wild jubilation and tears of joy.
In a 5-4 ruling, the highest court in the United States said the Constitution requires all 50 states to carry out and recognize marriage between people of the same sex.

President Barack Obama, in heartfelt remarks, praised the ruling as “a victory for America.” The court decision marked a fresh coup for the White House, coming a day after the Supreme Court upheld an important and disputed section of the president’s signature health care reform.

Nigerian Army Gives Families Of Dead Soldiers Money

The Nigerian Army has presented cheques to 62 next of kin of soldiers and officers of the army who died in ongoing counter-terrorism operations in the north-east.



While presenting the cheques to the recipients, the Chief of Army Administration, Major General Adamu Baba Abubakar, said the gesture was a sign of appreciation for their fallen colleagues and the support from their families while in service.

The estate has grossed nearly $2 billion since MJ's death. The money comes from the movies "This is It," the Cirque show "Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour," 50 million albums sold and various other ventures.
After expenses, that $2 bil gets whittled down to around $800m - which is a very good return.But the $800 mil gets significantly cut by taxes we're told to around $450 mil.

In the huge rush to beat the Bank Verification Number enrollment deadline which is June 30th, 2015 however, customers of an old generation bank engaged in a brawl with members of staff of the bank in the banking hall in Enugu State.
 
Customers were gripped by fear over the reports that their bank accounts will be frozen if they don't enroll before the deadline.
