Seven-Day Curfew Begins In Ife After Ooni’s Burial Today
A seven-day curfew will begin after the remains of the late Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, Olubuse II, must have been buried on Friday, the town’s chiefs have said.
The spokesperson for the chiefs, Chief Dejo Adejobi, told our correspondent on the telephone on Thursday that the restriction of movement for the rites would start from 4pm today and would past for the next seven days.

The Youth Wing of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo has kicked against any move by Nigeria to support the FIFA presidency bid of former Abia Governor, Chief Orji Uzor Kalu.
In a statement made available to DAILY POST, which was signed by Chetachi Ikpe, Deputy chairman, Ohanaeze Youth Wing, Abia State, the group alleged that Kalu was a candidate of prison and not FIFA.

Five Star Music artist Skiibii, 22, collapses and dies in his home this morning
So sad! Fast rising music artist Skiibii Mayana, who was signed to Five Star Music label, has died. Skiibii collapsed in his sitting room this morning and before help could come to him, he died. Right now, nobody knows the cause of death. Just yesterday, Skiibii and label mate Harrysong were at different radio stations promoting their music (pic BELOW was just about18 hours ago - now he's dead). He was actually dressed to go out when he collapsed and died. Skiibii was just 22 years old. May his soul rest in peace, amen.
