Christina Milian Says Lil Wayne Is The ‘Best Friend She’s Needed’ And Confirms Whether Or Not They’re Engaged

By     No comments:

Christina Milian Says Lil Wayne Is Her Best
Friend
Christina Milian is apparently so happy with Lil
Wayne that she just can’t stop gushing about him.
Unfortunately for her The New York Daily News
recently caught her casually chitchatting about her
tatted up baby making boo thang and wrote a story
about it. .
The New York Daily News’ Confidential reports:
Kicking off the Café Bustelo popup cafe in
Hollywood, Christina Milian said she’s still
seeing Lil Wayne despite rumors that their
relationship is staged. The “Dip It Low” singer
was heard saying she’s very happy dating the
heavily tattooed rapper, and he’s “like the best
friend she has needed and not had in years.”
She also was overhead speaking on rumors that
they’re getting married.
But don’t expect to hear wedding bells anytime
soon: Milian is not looking to rush into an
engagement.
Welp!
Guess she’ll keep rocking her Tina & Tunechi
necklace until she gets that ring.
What do YOU think about Christina Milian’s recent
love fest for Weezy????

Google removes Linda Ikeji Blog over plagiarism allegation

By     No comments:

Popular news and entertainment site, Linda Ikeji Blog,
was taken down Wednesday by tech firm, Google, after
a row over the originality of the blog’s contents.
Linda Ikeji Blog, published on Google-owned Blogger,
has grown to become one of the most visited websites
in Nigeria.
The site mainly aggregates and republishes news
items and entertainment bits sourced from other
channels, although it occasionally publishes exclusive
contents.
Its publisher, Linda Ikeji, has emerged one of the most
successful online entrepreneurs in Nigeria and has
been rated amongst Nigeria’s most influential young
women.
Lately, the site has been hit by multiple allegations of
plagiarism with critics allegedly prodding Google to
suspend the blog. The tech firm disallows plagiarism
on its platforms.
Ms. Ikeji denies lifting materials without proper
attribution.
On Tuesday, Ms. Ikeji said the site came under attack
by her competitors driven by envy over her success.
The claims followed allegations of plagiarism by the
publisher of another blog, 15Past8, known by the
name Aye Dee. Details of the controversial work are not
clear.
But on Tuesday, Ms. Ikeji dismissed the allegation in
an article, saying she cited sources in all published
materials.
Ms. Ikeji said Mr. Dee and other tech-savvy publishers
were out to have her website suspended by Google,
angered by her success and her recent acquisition of a
N24million SUV.
Ms. Ikeji did not respond to our inquiries Wednesday.
She however told her readers via her twitter handle @
lindaikeji: “Linda Ikeji Blog will be back in a bit…biko
bear with me…:-)”.
Google could not be immediately reached also. An
official who responded to our call denied knowledge of
the suspension of the website.

Rush Limbaugh Says President Obama Wants Ebola To Spread In America As Payback For Slavery

By     No comments:

Radio host Rush Limbaugh suggested on Monday that
President Barack Obama is refusing to divert flights
from Ebola-infected countries and close down
America’s borders because he believes that the
nation “deserves” to be infected with the virus given
its history of perpetuating slavery.
Via Think Progress reports:
Responding to a caller on his nationally
syndicated radio show, Limbaugh launched
into a soliloquy about so-called politically
correct liberals who believe that America is
responsible for the spread of Ebola in Liberia
because that nation was established by freed
American slaves. “And if it hadn’t been for
that they probably wouldn’t have [Ebola]. So
there are some people who think we kind of
deserve a little bit of this,” he said, before
accusing elected leaders of purposely leaving
the country vulnerable to the virus.
“The danger we have now is that we elected
people in positions of power and authority
who think this or think like this in terms of
this country being responsible, this country
being to blame for things and it’s that kind of
thinking that leads to opposition to shutting
down airports from various countries,”
Limbaugh explained, referring to the Obama
administration’s handling of the crisis.
“It leads to opposition to keeping these people
out of the country: ‘How dare we? We can’t
turn our back on them! They exist because of
us. We can’t turn them away!’” he said.
Though Republicans have been calling on the
Obama administration to impose strict travel
bans on countries with Ebola infections,
experts warn that such a policy could make
things worse. Ill patients would have a harder
time seeking treatment, international health
personnel wouldn’t be able to enter the
country, and local economies and the health
infrastructures would further be devastated by
a travel ban.
Instead, the Obama administration has sent
troops to infected countries, is providing
ground expertise to medical staff, establishing
field-deployable hospitals, and offering
“personal protective equipment and
laboratory reagents, support for technical
advisors, and other requests.”

I’m not ready to have kids, but seeing Beyonce is proof that one can be an animal and a mother – Nicki Minaj

By     No comments:

Nicki Minaj, 31, says she doesn’t feel ready to start a
family at the moment with her boyfriend Safaree
Samuels because it’ll mean she’ll have to take a break
from her career to focus all of her attention on her kids.
In an interiew with L’Uomo Vogue magazine, the
rapper of ‘Anaconda’ fame said:
“I don’t want to work my whole life without ever
experiencing the joys of a family. The time is not
yet ripe, but when I decide to get married and
become a mother, I would like to take a hiatus and
dedicate myself completely to my child. Family has
always been very important to me, and that is why
I want to wait until the right moment before
starting my own. Right now I am too busy, but at
a certain point the situation will change.”
The Queen of rap said she admires Beyoncé, who she
performed alongside in France last month, and the
way she cares for her two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy
while still pulling out all the stops for a successful
career.
In her own words:
“Seeing Beyoncé with her daughter [Blue Ivy] and
husband [Jay Z] was so tender, and it showed me
that it is possible to be an animal on stage and a
caring mother at the same time.”

Ponmo consumption is dangerous to health- Leather Scientist says

By     No comments:

The Director General of the Nigerian Institute of Leather
Science & Technology (NILEST), Zaria, Dr Isuwa
Adamu, has said that consumption of animal hides
and skin, popularly known as Ponmo is dangerous to
human health. Speaking to the News Agency of Nigeria,
NAN, in Abuja, Adamu said scientific research
has shown that ponmo doesn't have any nutritional
value to human health and that some of the animals
where ponmo is gotten from are usually sick & harbor
dangerous chemicals.
"In fact, it is not advisable for you to consume
ponmo in the sense that some of the animals killed
and used for ponmo actually have skin
diseases. Some of these skin diseases are such that
boiling them ordinarily, may not kill the
bacteria. Some of the animals because of the ailments
that they have gone through, are sometimes treated
by way of injection with chemicals.
People don’t allow these chemicals to complete its
cycle and be removed from the body; they sometimes
go ahead to kill these animals. So, if you consume
the ponmo, the tendency is that you are consuming
the chemicals directly because the skin part of the
animal retains most of the harmful
substances. Remember your skin is the major
protective organ of your body and your skin harbours
so many of the harmful things that are supposed to
penetrate into your body,” he explained.
He advised the Federal government to put in place
policies that would reduce the consumption of Ponmo
in Nigeria.
