DMX in critical health condition... not breathing, no pulse

By     No comments:

Yesterday, DMX collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. His people later claimed he suffered an asthma attack but according to a new report from TMZ, after speaking with authority, DMX didn't suffer an asthma attack and was at death's door when he was found Monday night. They said he was not breathing, didn't have a pulse and the signs point to an overdose.

From TMZ

It's a lot worse than the story DMX's people were putting out ... that he suffered an asthma attack. Yonkers cops responded to a call about an unconscious male at a Ramada Inn just after 6 PM. We're told when cops arrived DMX was on the ground in the parking lot next to a parked car. Cops quickly determined he was lifeless, not breathing with no pulse and immediately began CPR.
After a minute of CPR X's pulse came back. A witness on scene told cops DMX had ingested some sort of powder before lapsing into unconsciousness. Cops gave him Narcan, an antidote to narcotic ODs. DMX became "semi-conscious" and was taken to the hospital.
We're told DMX appears to be in stable condition and at this time, no criminal charges are expected.

He’s currently one of the hottest and youngest trending singers in Nigeria at the moment.
In a new interview with Saturday Beats, Mavin Records mega superstar, Korede Bello has revealed details about the making of ‘Godwin’, a song that brought him to limelight.
Read experts from the interview below: –
“Godwin was divinely a God project and I hope that God will bless my other works like he did Godwin. It was Don Jazzy that started the project and when he was half way, I joined him and we co-wrote the song together. At that moment, the song was inspired by the beat. But before then, I had always wanted to do a song that would touch all demography and that everyone could relate to. I have always dreamed of having a song with a message that people would dance to in the clubs and the same song could be sung in church. Godwin is the quickest song that we ever did. I have some songs in the studio that we recorded two years ago. It took us about three days to complete Godwin and within a week, the song was already out. It was easy to get the lyrics because it is about everyday situations,” he said.

Khloe Kardashian reportedly dumps James Harden

By     No comments:
Khloé Kardashian has reportedly dumped boyfriend James Harden. A source reportedly confirmed to UsWeekly that she dumped him weeks ago.

Rumours have been circulating that Khloe had dumped James several times before,  after she went back to her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, who nearly died after being found unconscious in a Nevada brothel last October and took care of him.
"James has been great. He's been very supportive with everything," she told Ryan Seacrest in November. "I'm sure there was, of course, times that he was uncomfortable with some of the things, but I'm a very honest person and I have nothing to hide.… He's been great and I've been open and honest."

Rotimi Amaechi replies Nyesom Wike over $150m allegation

By     No comments:

Read the press statement below..
Sadly, on Sunday, February 7, 2016, Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State in furtherance of his administration’s one-point agenda, yet again, continued his grossly irresponsible, repugnant and contemptuous, albeit, feckless mission of denigrating and disparaging the person and office of the immediate past governor of the state, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, who is now the minister of transportation.

The ‘story-story’ this time is about another phantom $150,000,000(One Hundred and Fifty Million Dollars) that Amaechi purportedly stole from Rivers State government coffers and siphoned to his party, the All Progressives Congress(APC) within eighteen days, from December 1 to 18 of 2014. Sadly again, Wike picked a church, a sacred temple of God to tell his new imaginary tale, another bogus, fallacious concoction.

This new scurrilous fabrication by Governor Wike is in sync with the one-point agenda of the Wike administration, which is to throw as much mud as possible at former governor Amaechi, hoping that some may at least stick. All sorts of spurious stories about alleged corruption and stealing of state funds against the Amaechi administration, have been bandied in the media with no attempt to substantiate or prove these distorted false claims that completely makes nonsense of common sense.

Even, when Amaechi challenged the Wike administration and its agents to use any constitutionally available legal process or procedure to prove their jaundice, deceitful allegations against him and his administration, they have rather elected to do their own corruption probe, trial and conviction in the media; and now, even inside our solemn places of worship (churches). How callous! Why would a government be so determined to desecrate and destroy every institution, all in the name of playing politics?

It continues to baffle us, like most right-thinking Nigerians that Governor Wike will stand in a church- a solemn place of worship- and carelessly, brusquely tell such a profound lie. He condescendingly descended to falsely and indecorously shout corruption against Amaechi, without providing a single shred of evidence to back his claims. How pathetic!

Pray, Governor Wike, who collected the $150million on behalf of APC? From which State Government account(s) was the $150million taken from? How was the $150million taken and given to APC? Was it by wired transfer from Rivers State government account(s) to APC account(s)?  So many questions, if Wike had attempted to answer, would have made nonsense of his supercilious allegations.

Rivers people and Nigerians are indeed sick and tired of this old worn-out trick of Governor Wike to hoodwink and distract Rivers people from the real issues. Making a new spurious allegation of corruption against Amaechi every day, will not make Rivers people forget that most of the beautiful, working institutions built by the Amaechi administration are now been allowed to rot away in spite of the billions of naira that had accrued to the State and the billions of naira borrowed by Wike. Rivers people want to know why weeds and grasses have taken over the beautiful schools built by Amaechi? Why the standard working health facilities Amaechi built and left behind are now looking desolate and abandoned? Rivers people are concerned and worried that crime and criminals are back and have taken over. No quantum of mudslinging and attempt to disparage the inspiring legacies of the Amaechi years in Rivers State would distract Rivers people from these issues.

Increased electricity tariff : Fashola appeals to Nigerians, says it's a bitter pill we must swallow

By     No comments:

Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, has appealed to Nigerians to accept the new increase in electricity tariff, saying it is a bitter pill we must swallow.

He made the appeal during the second monthly meeting with stakeholders in the power sector in Lagos‎ today February 8th
“Importantly, I understand that people who have been disappointed over a long time will feel a sense of concern that again tariffs have gone up. But the truth is that these tariffs ought to have been there from day one. I don’t know why the government of yesterday was not courageous enough to tell us this was the price. It is a painful pill that I must appeal that we swallow. It is like quinine and malaria. It’s painful; it’s not sweet, I know that, but I do it because we are not left with many choices. This is the first major decision in power that this administration has taken. There are other problems. I can only appeal for some understanding and some trust that we do this in the best interest of our country"he said.

Buhari went to rest,Not for medical check up - Adesina Claims

By     No comments:
Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, says contrary to opinion held by some people, Buhari's five day vacation is for him to rest and that he is not sick . Adesina who was a guest on Channels TV yesterday night, said Buhari had worked for eight straight months since he assumed office and needs rest
“Any man can fall sick, old or young, but the president is not sick, the president is well. The president has worked for more than eight months non-stop, and he felt it was time to take a respite and he asked for six days leave and he did it the proper way. He communicated it to the national assembly, handed over power to his deputy and nothing is wrong with that.”he said

He denied claims that Buhari's vacation appeared sudden.
“Do you go on vacation because you are sick? You need respite from time to time and when you think it is time for respite, you take it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with his state of health. “Nigerians have been lied to for so long that they are now finding it difficult to believe the truth and that is the problem. You have told the truth yet they did not believe it because they have a carry-over of those who have lied to them for many decades but this government will not lie; it will tell the truth.”‎he said

Nigerians deserve Oliseh's insults - Onigbinde says as he slams the coach

By     No comments:

Former Super Eagles coach, Adeboye Onigbinde, says Nigerians deserve the insults hauled at them by Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh. Onigbinde said this while reacting to the Youtube videos Oliseh posted over the weekend, where he described his critics as Insane. He has however apologized for this. Onigbinde who spoke to Goal.com said;
"The first issue is about his appointment which he claimed he didn’t beg to secure, in other words, the NFF begged him. And I begin to ask what qualities did the NFF see in him and begged to have him lead the Super Eagles?
I still feel it is a big slap on the country to appoint a Nigerian or a foreigner who has never handled any club or a big team to handle the Super Eagles. That is an insult, and now the insult is now being complicated. Oliseh is now calling his critics insane. I watched the video and at a point was shedding tears for Nigerian football but we deserve it. Since he got this job, he has been going to Europe for treatment, shouldn’t the NFF have verified his health condition before appointing him. Now he has the gut to insult everybody. ‎Also talking about his experience, has he not shown inadequacy in this? For instance, see the way he handled [Vincent] Enyeama’s case. If Oliseh was intelligent enough, he could have commiserated with him first on the loss of his mother and Enyeama would have been worshipping him, but he wanted to be a boss. Have Nigerians forgotten that the national team broke down in Mali as a result of gross indiscipline under his leadership and now that is the kind of person NFF feels is good enough for the Super Eagles job. These are the questions we failed to answer before giving him the job and to some extent, he is right in throwing hot water on the faces of those who landed him the job. You can imagine a coach coming out a day to the commencement of the African Nations Championship that his players are not well fed and all that, what kind of result do you expect from that kind of coach? The question now is, will this not affect our chances in future competitions? Now we are causing more confusion and destroying the team further. That is in the hands of those managing Nigeria football. I have made several enemies speaking the truth. The fact is we have administrative problems bedeviling our football,” he said.

NCC Declares GLO As Best Network In New Internet Subscription

By     No comments:
glo

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has declared that Globacom is the leader in new internet subscriber acquisition in the country’s telecommunications industry.
Based on a report on the 2015 third quarter (Q3)statistics currently on the NCC website, Globacom gained the highest number of internet users in September of 2015 with over a million new internet users on its network.
The industry regulator said that Globacom had 21,896,229 internet users on its network as at the end of September, up from 20,765,379 data users in August; the figure showed an addition of 1,130,850 new internet subscribers.
Globacom’s figure was much more than the total number of new internet users who joined the three other major telecom operators, MTN, Airtel, and Etisalat. The three recorded a combined total of 716,450 new internet subscribers in September. The closest to Globacom was MTN which recorded an additional 423,448 new internet users on its network. Airtel placed third with 235,941 new subscribers while Etisalat recorded the least number of new internet users in the industry with additional 57,061 new data subscribers joining the network in September.
Globacom has for several months been leading the race for the acquisition of new internet users in the market. For instance, the network added 1,434,830 data users last August while MTN recorded 309,960 and Etisalat 147,149 new internet surfers. Airtel on its part had a drop of 110,838.
The steady growth in the number of data subscribers on the Globacom network is said to be a fallout of the improved data services which followed the network’s improvement exercise carried out by the company. Globacom had also launched several attractive and user-friendly packages which appeal to data users.
For instance, the company recently launched the ‘Free Tomorrow’ promo which calculates all the value of airtime a subscriber uses in a day for internet services, phone calls, and SMS, doubles the value and credits the subscriber by 12 midnight the next day.

Why I Won’t Support Buhari’s War Against Corruption – Wike

By     No comments:
wike

Rivers state Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike has claimed that the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari was biased in its fight against corruption, stressing that he would rather fight corruption his own way than support the anti-graft campaign of the current administration.
The Governor made this assertion on Sunday during a thanksgiving service in celebration of his victory at the Supreme Court.
According to him, “We would not support the fight against corruption. People took our money from the state, and we wrote to the police asking them to go and make a statement; nothing has come out of it.
“We won’t take anybody to the EFCC because I know what would happen. We know how to fight our own way. We won’t support that war against corruption that they are doing.”
Wike, who disclosed that he would have given up if the verdict did not end in his favour, noted that bloodshed was prevented in the state through the ruling of the apex court, asserting that, “blood would have flown if the election was going to hold again.”
Hear him, “So, I called some people, including the chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus, that I was not going to run again. They said why and I explained that if I did, many people would die.
“I pray that my enemy should continue to have permanent high blood pressure. I wouldn’t pray that God will heal them. My own has come down now, and for several months it was high. It is time for their own to rise.”
