Girl Stabs Boyfriend to Death in Lekki,Lagos.

A housemaid, Blessing Edeh, has stabbed her boyfriend, Edet Ebong, to death in the Lekki area of Lagos State.

The 24-year-old Uyo, Akwa Ibom State indigene, said Ebong died because he was jealous and suspicious of her, adding that she felt no remorse since it was “a case of two fighting”.

Edeh and Ebong had been dating for one year and six months.

B/Haram food worth N60million destroyed by Nigerian Army

The 7 Division of the Nigerian Army has reportedly destroyed about 2,000 cartons of dried fish which were seized from Boko Haram insurgents in Borno State.
The fish, believed to be worth N60 million, was recovered from the terrorists along with other items.
The seized items were shown to journalists by the Spokesperson of the Division, Tukur Gusau on Friday, September 4, 2015, in Maiduguri.

Drunk Police Inspector's AK47 Stolen While Sleeping on Duty

An Inspector of the Nigerian Police Force attached to Area ‘F’ command in Ikeja, Lagos State (names withheld), last weekend, got himself drunk and lost his AK-47 rifle with 30 rounds of ammunition, while on duty.

Vanguard reports that the inspector and his team were on special duty on the day of the incident.
On getting back to the office, he reportedly  told his colleagues that he was going to eat and also use the opportunity to repair the patrol vehicle. He however returned drunk without his gun and ammunition.
