Hilarious : Wanted man didn't like his mugshot so he sent a 'better' photo to the police....
A man wanted by Ohio police sent authorities a selfie because he was unhappy with the mugshot being circulated on his arrest warant. Donald Pugh says the unflattering mugshot made him look "like I was a Thundercat"
Donald "Chip" Pugh was wanted for a failure to appear in several cases including arson and vandalism, according to Lima Police Department. In a post on its Facebook page, Lima Police urged people to contact them if they spotted Pugh - along with an 'unflattering' mugshot of the 45-year-old
Pugh then sent an image of himself sitting in a car wearing sunglasses, with the comment:
"Here is a better photo that one is terrible."
The fugitive even carried out an interview with Ohio radio station The Eagle, in which he claimed Lima Police "just did me wrong".
He said: "They put a picture out that made me look like I was a Thundercat... or James Brown on the run. I can't do that."
Lima Police responded to the photo, adding: "We thank (Pugh) for being helpful, but now we would appreciate it if he would come speak to us at the (police station) about his charges". So far Pugh has not been caught.
Images Of A Pig Born With A Monkey's Face
Images of a piglet born with the head of a monkey viral on social media, as viewers branded the strange creature 'a monkey pig'.
The animal appears to have a considerably shortened snout as well as monkey-like ears and eyes.
Sadly, the piglet died just four days after it was born.
A video of the pig showed its owner holding it up in his arms as a crowd gathered around to look at it in the city of Ciego de Avila in central Cuba.
"One of a kind, never seen before", one of the bystanders can be heard commenting.
According to local media, the owner visited a vet, who explained that the piglet had been born with a congenital defect which caused its look - and its death.
It is not the first time that a porcine creature has come into the world looking like it belongs in a jungle, with deformed pigs being reported from South America through to China.
Some blamed environmental pollution while others argue people are simply more aware of such deformities due to social media.
Whatever the reason, the monkey-piglet quickly became something of a local tourist attraction, with people coming from across the area to photograph its remarkable features before it died.

Judge Sentences Man To Death By Hanging For Stealing Phones, Wrist Watches And Money
A judge, Hon. Justice Olabisi Akinlade has convicted a 25-year-old armed robber, Rasak Ogedengbeand sentenced him to death by hanging. Ogedengbe attacked the family of one Mr Chukwujekwu who just returned from church at Ejigbo and carted away some of their valuables, which included money, wrist watches and phones.
The victim had gone to report at Ejigbo police station when he saw Ogedenge in the police van after the suspect had already been arrested by the police, Tribune reports.
The police searched the polythene bag with him and found some of the valuables stolen from the victim. Ogedengbe did not produce any witness and also pleaded not guilty to the offence but the prosecution had called two witnesses to testify and all their evidence were taken by the court.
While delivering her judgment, the presiding judge, Hon.Justice Olabisi Akinlade said that Ogedengbe was accused of criminal conspiracy and armed robbery under Section 403 and 402 of the criminal code, law of Lagos State 2003.
She said that the prosecution has been able to prove the elements of armed robbery and conspiracy and therefore found Ogedengbe guilty of both offences.
He was therefore sentenced to death by hanging.

When Saturday Beats met with the entertainer recently at an event, he said that he never said he was gay and that he was only fooling around with the picture. He also identified who the young man in the towel is.
“I never said I was gay, people are just used to jumping into conclusion. I was only messing around in the picture that went viral. I am not coming out of any closet or wardrobe. The young man in the picture is actually my cousin,” he said.

Buhari To Relaunch “War Against Indiscipline”
President Muhammadu Buhari is set to relaunch the War Against Indiscipline and Corruption in his patriotic bid to wipe out corruption from Nigeria.
This was revealed by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed at a meeting with the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) in Abuja yesterday, to enlist their support in the on-going war against terrorism.
It will be recalled that as a military Head of State, Buhari alongside Tunde Idiagbon launched a nationwide campaign called “War Against Indiscipline” (“WAI”).
The WAI campaign was aimed at tackling the most anti-social Nigerian characteristics such as indiscipline, corruption, and lack of environmental sanitation.

He further said the new attitudinal change programme was tagged “Change Begins With Me”, adding that the National Orientation Agency (NOA), with offices across the 774 local government councils will be saddled with the responsibility of driving it.
He further explained that another campaign against corruption would also be unveiled shortly after the commencement of the “Change Begins With Me’’ programme.
Aware that some members of BON are privately-owned outfits that need to make money to remain afloat, the minister argued that they could only carry out their operations when the nation is at peace.
He equated the situation in the country to war, reiterating that the media cannot afford to be neutral at this time.
“This war against terror is our war, not the military’s war,’’ he stated, charging them to assist government in disseminating security awareness campaign messages across the country.
The minister said the essence of the campaign was to educate Nigerians on the need to support the military which, according to him, had availed itself creditably in the battle.
It was also aimed at alerting the citizenry to the need to be more security conscious, to be able to identify Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), the weapon of choice deployed by the Jihadi terrorists.
Another reason was for the campaign is that Nigerians be able to identify suicide bombers before they are able to strike since “they live amongst us”.
Mohammed explained that the messages will be produced in various local languages to make them more potent.
He also alleged that some beneficiaries of corruption who did not want the nation to be at peace were behind the funding of the Boko Haram insurgency from proceeds of corruption.
“We believe that the change we so desire must start with each and every one of us, if it is to endure. The change must also come from within the heart, rather than being forced,” the minister stated.
On a request by one of the BON members that the government should assist them in protecting broadcast installations, the minister said he would reach out to the Inspector General of Police, to provide security to all broadcasting premises and facilities nationwide.

Metuh Has Admitted Collecting N400m From Dasuki – EFCC
National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh, has told federal investigators that he collected money from the office of the National Security Adviser.
The Nation reports that Metuh admitted the transfer of N400million into a company, Destra Investment Limited, in which he has substantial interest.
“So far, Metuh has admitted the transfer of N400 million by ONSA into a company in which he has substantial interest,” an EFCC source told the newspaper.
“It is left to him to justify why he deserved such benefit from arms cash. We are still questioning him on other remittances into the company’s account. We are also demanding how he will refund the cash,” the source said.
He added that, “Contrary to the noise outside, we did our homework very well. Anybody we bring to the EFCC this time around, we used to make sure that we have established a case against him”.
