My Husband Doesn’t Want People To See Our Baby – Tiwa Savage

Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage in an interview with Genevieve Magazine has explained why she and her husband , Tee billz decided to keep the face of the boy away.

According to her,

‘Well that’s his dad’s decision. Every mother wants everyone to see the picture of her baby. I want everyone to see how cute he is but I understand my husband’s perspective too. He is the head of the house so I have to respect his wishes. Eventually, we will reveal his face but for now, he wants only close family and friends to have the special moment to bond and not share it with the world yet.’

She also reflected on motherhood so far, recounting how it was hard to bond with her child after he was born.

‘I’m going to be as candid as I can be and Genevieve is the only press I’ve ever told. They say you bond instantly with your baby but I didn’t have that instant connection. I was in a 20-hour labour and just when I was about to push him out, his heart rate dropped, so there was a lot of panic in the room and we were all in tears.

Then, when he eventually came out, everyone screamed “congratulations” and they had to put him on my chest to bond. Instead, when they did, I said “he is beautiful, but can I sleep for just one hour?”

Famous American R&B singer, Chris Brown has shown a couple of times he’s a sucka for a couple of things, Royalty, Rihanna, Karrueche Tran and basketball.

To prove my point, Chris Brown has reportedly invited his former girlfriend – Rihanna, to join him to watch legendary Kobe Bryant play in his last season at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Christmas Day!
TMZ reports that the 27-year-old superstar doesn’t just want to play Santa Claus to his daughter, Royalty but wants to rekindle the days he spent with Rihanna sitting courtside at basketball games.
“He misses chopping it up with Rihanna at the games like they’ve done so many times in the past,” a source close to Chris reveals to HollywoodLife.  “Kobe is one of Chris’ idols! Chris’ Christmas would be complete if Rihanna accepted the offer. Watching her smile and eat popcorn out the palm of his hands while watching Kobe play in his last season would be a dream come true for Breezy.”
“The holidays are her favorite time of the year,” a source close to the ‘ANTI’ artist explained to the site.“She’s spent many holidays with Chris before and he’s the best at it! She misses all that warm and fuzzy stuff they use to do and she definitely misses their cuddling sessions. She’s having a weak moment for Breezy and she’s doing her best not to act on it,”source added.

God pulled me out of mess; I have a happy life free from abuse- Anita Oyakhilome shades ex-husband, Pastor Chris

By     No comments:
Estranged wife of popular Lagos Pastor, Chris Oyakhilome, Anita, yesterday December 2nd, took to her blog to thank God for pulling her out of mess and making her lead a life now free from abuse. Anita and Chris Oyakhilome have been separated since last year. What she wrote below ...
"December is the last month of the year I start every month thankful and for this month of December I am eternally grateful. I am worthy of love, to give and receive. I have value and self-respect, no one has the ability to oppress, suppress or depress me. I am enough and complete in God. My today is better than yesterday.
I have come to a place of wholeness, strength and joy. God pulled me out of mess; I have a happy life free from abuse. No one can take the place of God; he is sovereign and reigns forever. Man is mortal and his days on earth are numbered. When the end comes, it is a glorious thing to return to our maker, to dwell in His holiness and truth. The end of the year brings a rebirth of another year. The death of something can be the rebirth of another thing. All is not lost. Whatever happens in your life, no matter how distressing things might seem. When darkness appears endless, watch out for that tiny spark of light, when you can muster up the courage to thank God for closed doors. In the process of counting your blessings, you find joy!".

Chris Brown Dedicates ‘KAE’, A Song On His New Album To Karrueche Tran

By     No comments:
Chris-Brown-kanye

Its quite confusing for everyone these days to place exactly where Chris Brown’s heart is.
The award winning singer seems to have pissed off a few of his fans after his decision to include a bonus track on his forthcoming album -Royalty – to his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.
An official tracklist for both the standard and deluxe editions of the singer’s highly anticipated album dropped online on Monday, November 30, the song title ‘KAE’ got fans talking.
While the singer’s fans are eager for Royalty’s release on December 18, it appears some fans aren’t too happy, with rumors suggesting that one of Brown’s deluxe bonus tracks, ‘KAE,’ is dedicated to his model ex.
However, Breezy has not been shy about referencing his past relationship with Tran in his music, most recently releasing a new song titled ‘The Breakup’ on his surprise-release mixtape Before the ‘Party on Black Friday’.
In addition, he took to Instagram last week to tease several of his impending tracks from Royalty, one of which appears to be aimed at  Karrueche.
In one now-deleted clip, the ‘Loyal’ singer can be seen mouthing along to lyrics, “I remember when we used to be in love / Now you’re in Hollywood, tryna get your name up / Now when I look at you, all I see is a stranger,” prompting Tran to respond to Brown’s apparent diss with her own video asking, “To be petty… or to not be petty? That is the question.”

Ramsey Noah Talks About Growing Up Poor, Says “My Mum And I Went 3/4days Without Food”

By     No comments:
Ramsey-Noah-2-1

In a new interview with Star Gist, handsome Nollywood actor, Ramsey Noah spoke about his childhood and how he managed to survive with his mother when they were poor.

Ramsey told the entertainment platform that, “I lived on the streets and in a store which could accommodate a mat with my mother. My mother and I squeezed ourselves in that mat.
“Those were the times when things got really bad for my mother and I and we had nothing. It was so bad that we didn’t have a home to live in. We didn’t even have a cup to drink water, talk more of a stove to cook on. My mother had to borrow, beg and stuff like that.
“Those moments, those terrible moments we had nothing and we were living off people. People were just helping us out. There were times we didn’t have food to eat three or four days. You haven’t eaten and your stomach is rumbling but you don’t have any place to go.
“It was unfortunate that there were no records so that we can have memories we could play back now. To me, I am so extremely grateful that I went through it. At that time, I hated everybody around me. In fact, I used to question why God was doing this to me. But I think God knew that I needed this for my future”.
“These were moments when I was young. I didn’t realise the gravity of poverty we were in”.

See how badly a woman beat up a rapist

By     No comments:

Jonathan Holmes will think twice about assaulting a woman ever again. CCTV camera caught him hiding behind walls and looking out for a victim after a drunken night out. Around midnight, he began following his intended victim, pushed her and tried to drag into the bushes. What he did not anticipate however is the fight she put up. The woman punched him twice in the stomach while holding her house keys and began to scream.

Holmes pushed her onto her back and said: “You are going to enjoy this” before forcing his tongue into her mouth.

She bit it and continued to hit him in the stomach, face and neck.

Two passers by came to her aid and Holmes fled.

The woman told the court: “I believed without a doubt this man was going to rape me. My life would have been over – he might as well have killed me right there. I was so terrified but so angry.”

Holmes pleaded guilty to sexual assault with his defence lawyer saying the attack was “completely out of character”.

He said he had been drunk at the time of the incident and had no recollection of it.
The lawyer said he was “sorry for his actions”.

He has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison.

Office of the Senate president denies plans to gag social media

By     No comments:

Read the press statement from the office of the Senate president below.
Clarification on false claim that Senate passed a bill proposing to jail social media users for two years. The bill being made reference to, is An Act to Prohibit Frivolous Petitions and Other Related Matters, which absolutely makes no mention of jailing social media users.
Senator Na’Allah’s bill seeks to make illegal, the common act of individuals sponsoring frivolous petitions to tarnish/blackmail public servants or political office holders for selfish purposes.
The bill also seeks to make it a requirement for petitioners to depose to an affidavit in court which will must be attached to any petition. Where such petition is discovered to be frivolous, or mischievous or the fact there in are false, the proposed bill makes it a case of perjury which is an offense under the law.

The  Deputy Senate leader in his submission expressed concern that with such frivolous petitions, the right of an individual to be presumed innocent until proven guilty by a competent court, would have eroded such presumption of innocence as these petitions lead to media trials that hampers the rule of law.

In the developed societies and in particular, the US, if one files a petition with the Federal Bureau of Investigation or any other government agency, aimed at defaming someone, ruining their reputation or family and such petition is discovered to be false, such a person will be held liable and would pay dearly for it.

One can only imagine that if countries allowed dishonest elements to file petitions against their opponents without having to hold them accountable, this will amount to impunity.

Please find attached the lead debate to the said petition.
Signed

ISIS release sickening video showing the beheading of Russian spy

By     No comments:

Isis has released a chilling new video which appears to show a militant brutally beheading a man they claim is a Russian spy.
The terror group claims the man was murdered in revenge over Russian air strikes in Syria.

The prisoner wearing an orange jump suit is executed with a hunting knife just like the killings carried out by Jihadi John .
But unlike Mohammed Emwaz I (Jihadi John) this man was not wearing a balaclava and his bearded face could be clearly seen.
The video shows the man sitting in an orange jumpsuit giving details of his apparent recruitment by Russian intelligence services.
Then it cuts to the Islamic State fighter, who says in Russian the air strikes ordered by Putin against the Islamist extremist group "has only made us more certain and more firm", according to CNN.
He then addresses the Russian people, saying, "You will not find peace in your homes.
"We will kill your sons ... for each son you killed here. "And we will destroy your homes for each home you destroyed here."

JTF Kill 9 IPOB Members In Onitsha - Vanguard

By     No comments:

The peaceful protest embarked upon on Tuesday by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, against the continued incarceration of Mr. Nnamdi Kalu the Radio Biafra Director, turned bloody at about 1.30 am early hours of Wednesday, after an alleged encounter by the Joint Military Taskforce comprising, Army, Navy, Police and Civil Defense, who clashed at Niger Bridge Head with some members of the IPOB who vowed to continue their blockage of the bridge for three days until Kanu is released.

The encounter left about nine people dead, five at Niger Bridge Head, three at Obodoukwu Road, a Suya meat seller said to have been hit by stray bullet who died instantly.

Miscreants on hearing that some people have been shot dead by the joint Military taskforce went into another protest, marched to the Central mosque at near Onitsha Main Market and set it, a Hilux Pick Up van with federal Government number was also burnt when the Joint Military Taskforce held motorist and commuters hostage at Upper Iweka with sporadic shooting that has never been witnessed before in Onitsha.

The protesting IPOB members had blocked the Niger Bridge early Tuesday morning there by grounded vehicular movement in and outside Onitsha, and people who knew alternative through the river Niger boarded Flying and Speed boat through Marine Police station to cross in and out of Onitsha to Asaba, but incidentally the protest was aggravated with Wednesday early hours shooting to death of five IPOB members seen at about .30 am observing their three days protest at the Niger Bridge Head agaisng the continued detention of their leader, Mr. Kanu.

As at the time filing this report all the markets in Onitsha have been shut down around 12.30 pm, as millions of traders in all the markets in Onitsha and its environs were seen tscampering for safety and rekking to their homes, looking tired and worried, as gun shut were sporadically shot almost every corner in Onitsha.

The protest had their peaceful protest on Tuesday without any casualty but the situation was aggravated when the Joint Military Taskforce who could not disperse them on Tuesday invaded the Niger Bridge at about 1.30 am and opened fire on the thousands of the IPOB members who refused to leave the Niger Bridge, the entry to South East, killing six people including the Suya seller said to have been hit by stray bullet.

The alleged killing of the IPOB members was said to have sparked off another protest by IPOB members who were joined by MASSOB members who made born fires along Onitsha Owerri Road and Onitsha Enugu Express way, forcing motorists coming in and out of Onitsha from both Enugu, Asaba, Owerri difficult to enter or exit.

One of our reporters who went to Oba for an assignment was trapped at Oba Junction, where had to pay N3,000 from Oba Junction to Tazan junction Onitsha, as over 2000 vehicles coming into Onitsha were seen parked at the Oba junction and refused to come into Onitsha.

Okonjo-Iweala: Oshiomhole After Me Because I Blocked His ‘Dubious N15bn Loan’

By     No comments:

A former minister of finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has urged the federal government to call the Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, to order, saying Mr. Oshiomhole is seeking how to link her to the $2.1 billion arms probe.
Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala said she had “absolutely nothing” to do with the arms issue.

The Nigerian government has made high profile arrests in connection with an ongoing investigation into the alleged $2.1 billion arms contract.
Former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, was arrested Tuesday.

Mr. Oshiomhole was quoted Wednesday by Leadership newspaper as saying the immediate past finance minister, and former President Goodluck Jonathan, should also be prosecuted as they gave approval for funds to be released.

“The issue is whether the Nigerian president under the constitution has the power to approve funds belonging to local, state and federal government- funds that have not been appropriated by the National Assembly,” Mr. Oshiomhole was quoted by the paper as saying.
“That is a criminal offense for which Okonjo-Iweala ought to face criminal prosecution. These things are just discussed and wished away. For me, I will stick for the truth and don’t care what people will say,” he said.

In an emailed statement signed by her spokesperson, Paul Nwabuiku, Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala said that it is an abuse of public office, the judicial process and her human rights for Governor Oshiomhole “whom she stopped from taking a highly suspicious N15 billion loan to make false allegations against her while hiding behind the constitutional immunity granted state governors”.

“As recently confirmed by the Debt Management Office, professional analysis showed that Oshiomhole’s loan request which was based on using low interest World Bank loan to offset high interest commercial loans would have left Edo state with a heavy debt burden and the state would have found it very difficult to pay back,” the former minister said.

The former minister said it was unconscionable for the governor to embark on a “campaign of lies against her because she thwarted his dubious loan request”.
She described the governor’s unsubstantiated allegations as a “cynical personalization of the anti-corruption campaign to achieve ignoble objectives”.

“Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala therefore put Mr. Oshiomhole and his ilk on notice that she has briefed her lawyers and that she is ready to explore all legal means, local and international, to defend her name against corrupt and compromised persons,” her spokesperson said.
“It has become a pattern of behaviour that each time Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is internationally recognized, Governor Oshiomhole and his cohorts embark on a cynical and devious ploy of trying to pull her down locally.

“Just last night, December 1, Okonjo-Iweala was honoured at a high profile event attended by Vice President Joe Biden and former President Bill Clinton. Okonjo Iweala was honoured alongside Michael Bloomberg, Bill and Melinda Gates and Mo Ibrahim for their contributions to global development and humanity.
“Gov. Oshiomhole and his cohorts should realize that their ill-motivated attempts to taint Dr Okonjo Iweala’s reputation will never succeed!” the statement said.

Dasuki Lists Ex-governors, PDP Chiefs In $2b Deals

By     No comments:

FORMER National Security Adviser (NSA) Sambo Dasuki has made some “mind-boggling” revelations on the $2billion “phoney” arms contracts, a source said yesterday.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and a Federal Government committee are probing how huge sums of money meant for procurement of arms went down the drain during the Dr. Goodluck Jonathan administration.

An interim report indicates that about $2billion may have been disbursed for inexplicable reasons.

Dasuki was arrested on Tuesday by the Department of State Services (DSS). He was transferred to the EFCC.

An EFCC source said: “When Dasuki was brought in, he initially refused to write any statement, alleging that he had been subjected to media trial.

“I think the ex-NSA decided not to open up based on the advice of his lawyers that he should leave everything for the open court.

“The EFCC operatives, however, obliged Dasuki a copy of the statement by a former Director of Finance in the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), Shaibu Salisu in which the latter made some implicating statements.

“Dasuki, who was shocked by Salisu’s confessions, repeatedly asked: ‘You mean Salisu wrote all these! You mean he said these! Give me a pen and paper’.

“Thereafter, Dasuki decided to open a can of worms. He gave a long list of PDP chieftains who collected money from the Office of the NSA.

“He mentioned the names of a former Deputy National Chairman of PDP, ex-governors and ex-ministers and many others.

“As I am talking to you, Dasuki is still writing his statement. The disclosures of the ex-Director of Finance in ONSA have assisted greatly in getting to the bottom of the armsgate.

“So, the investigation is still on. We will certainly arrest more suspects soon.”

There were indications that the anti-graft commission may extend its probe to the seizure of $9million cash by South Africa and quiz all those involved in the botched deal.

An Israeli suspect implicated in the deal is said to have bolted after throwing a lavish party at his Wuse residence.

Former Sokoto State Governor Attahiru Bafarawa, AIT Chairman Raymond Dokpesi and former Minister Bashir Yuguda were yesterday battling for bail.

It was learnt that the EFCC was planning to arraign some of the suspects in court to enable the agency keep the more than 22 suspects being interrogated in custody.

The EFCC is said to be mindful of a situation in which the high-profile suspects will rush to court to seek the enforcement of their fundamental rights and truncate the investigation.

A source, who pleaded not to be named, said many suspects had admitted collecting huge sums of money from the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) when Dasuki was in charge.

Said the source: “Our investigators have isolated these areas of probe: Were the funds budgeted for? If not, what informed extra-budgetary expenses? How much was actually voted for arms procurement? How were the funds sourced? Who or which agency awarded all the contracts? Who were the contractors? Was there any evidence of delivery of equipment? What will make any Minister to run to ONSA for funds?

“These are the areas our detectives have been mandated to look at.”

On other suspects, the source explained that some of the diverted funds had been traced to a bureau de change owned by a former member of the staff of the ONSA.

“Some Bureau de Change operators were accomplices of many of these suspects in custody. We are tracking every transaction.

“On daily basis, we will keep on inviting more suspects because the syndicate has a complex networking,” the source added.

As at press time last night, Bafarawa, Dokpesi and Yuguda were still battling for bail.

A source said: “We have not released any of them because they are clearing some grey areas.”

Another source in EFCC said the agency would extend its probe to the seizure of the $9.34m cash smuggled into South Africa.

The cash was confiscated by the South Africa from an Israeli arms dealer of Cyprus-based ESD International, who acted on behalf of the Federal Government to procure arms for Nigeria.

Part of the cash was for six “civilian” helicopters from a South African company, Tier One.

The National Prosecuting Authority of South Africa recently received a court permission to return the cash to Nigeria.
