Wizkid Stole ‘Ojuelegba’ From Me – Blackface

Veteran dancehall act and a former member of the defunct Afro-pop singing trio, Plantashun Boyz, Blackface, has called on fellow musician, Wizkid, to “stop stealing” his songs.
Blackface who spoke exclusively to Saturday Beats , said Wizkid had been copying many of his songs for a long time…
“I never really wanted to talk about it all this while but after people started checking out my new song, Killa, many felt Blackface sounded like Wizkid, which I didn’t like.
“If you check properly, you would realise that Wizkid’s hit, Ojuelegba, sounds exactly the same as the track 13 on my dancehall album released as far back as 2010.
You need to listen to that album to know what I am talking about. The song is so similar that I think it shouldn’t be that way.
“Well, in Killa, I sang that “they tried to copy my melody,” and the bloggers got a hint of the gist and put their reports out. What I said is the truth and I am going to get to the root of this matter because I deserve justice.
“The Ojuelegba song has made so much revenue for Wizkid. I am not bothered about that but I want the industry to be in a position whereby people will understand that some of the artistes and the songs they are cheering is someone else’s efforts, especially fellow artistes that they are doing everything to bring down.
All they are doing is to bring down Blackface and to say that he is not relevant in the industry. Some people are bent on killing my legacy. I believe there is definitely a gang-up against me in the industry and this has been going on for a long time,” he said.
Asked if he had taken on Wizkid personally on the matter, the dancehall artiste said he did his best in that regard but that the response from the Star Boy act shocked him.
“There was a time Wizkid followed me on twitter and I told him that I don’t want him taking my songs and that if he wants to do any of my rhythm, he should let me know.
I told him that because I was just being a big brother to him. I told him that our songs can’t be sounding so similar and that if he wants anything, he should let me know.
But after some time, he ‘unfollowed’ me and it was shortly after then that the Ojuelegba song was released. I don’t have any problem with Wizkid or any other person, all I am saying is that they shouldn’t be tampering with my songs because those are my properties.
“Wizkid and I do different kinds of music and he doesn’t have my type of skill. I don’t have a problem with that. I am only bothered when somebody takes my song and tries to turn it around into theirs without giving me due credit,” he said.
Efforts to reach Wizkid to react to Blackface’s claims proved abortive as his phone numbers were switched off. His manager, Sunday Are, couldn’t be reached as his line was switched off as well.

I Went Into Robbery To Maintain My Chieftaincy Title – Ex-Niger Delta Militant

By     No comments:
Clement-Millions

Before his recent arrest by operatives of the Inspector-General of Police Special Intelligence Response Team, 42-year-old Clement Millions was a titled chief, perhaps a respected one at that.
But his foray into armed robbery has landed him in police custody. Millions, in his shocking revelation to the police after he was arrested, said he was installed as a chief in 2014 but that the demands of the title soon became overwhelming that he had to resort into armed robbery.
“In 2014, I was conferred with a chieftaincy title of Ebimewe, which means someone who is doing well, but the high financial demands of my new title made me to join a bank robbery gang to get enough money to maintain my new status in the society,” he said.
The suspect, who hails from Ogbembri village in Delta State, told the police that he joined the dreaded armed robbery gang that came through the creek to carry out robbery operations in some banks in Lagos, but noted that before his foray into robbery, he lived in reasonable comfort.
He said, “I am one of the militants granted amnesty when we surrendered our guns. The Federal Government used to pay each of us N65,000 every month and I was also involved in black market oil sale. I was making a lot of money from it and I built a mansion. I actually helped people.”
He mentioned the names of other members of the gang to include Kelly, Kakadu, Dike, Ossy and John Togo.
While giving an account of how he acquired his 20 years experience in armed robbery and kidnapping, Millions, said he and others were doing well in their oil business before Togo lured him into the robbery gang. He recalled that he had participated in about four bank robbery operations.
He said, “One day, Togo begged me to lend him N300,000 to go and buy something in Lagos. I did not know he was planning how to rob banks in Lagos. I could not say no to him for security reasons.
“I participated in the two bank robbery operations at Ikorodu and the ones at FESTAC, Agbara and Lekki. We got about N66m in Agbara and my share was N2.5m. In FESTAC, we got N23m and my share was N800,000. About 26 of us used 13 guns for the FESTAC operation and we went in two buses. In Ikorodu, during the first operation we got N12m but my own share was N500,000, while in the second operation, I got N800,000 out of the N62m we got.”
Millions said he smelled trouble when some of the gang members killed some policemen in the course of their operations, saying he knew that police would come after them to avenge the death of their colleagues, but that he could not dump the group.
He said, “I even went to church to confess my sins and I vowed not to go back to robbery but other gang members came up with reasons for us to continue and I also needed more money as a high chief. Despite my 20 years as an armed robber, I was not involved in bank operation until last year.”
“After the operation at Ikorodu, I came back and followed them to rob a bank at FESTAC because of my ‘long throat’. I returned to Ikorodu to participate in another operation because my 500 jerry cans caught fire. We sometimes used military and police uniform to beat security. I had one Toyota Highlander sport utility vehicle which I sold for N800,000 and then I bought three saw machines. Then, I relocated to Benin to be able to monitor my sawmill workers.”
Millions, who is married with six children, explained that his wife and children were not aware that he was an armed robber. “I vowed to God as my New Year resolution to stop robbing people but unfortunately I was arrested,” he said.
Meanwhile, a police source hinted that the IGP, Solomon Arase, had promised to track other members of the gang, and that the Response Team had arrested seven persons who specialised in supplying arms and eight other members of the gang.

Buhari Threatened To Sack Ministers Because Of Extradition Agreement With UAE

By     No comments:
President-Buhari-2

Sources inside Nigeria’s Presidency have told SaharaReporters that fierce disagreements over treaties signed between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) nearly led to the sacking of top ministers in President Muhammadu Buhari’s government.
The sources disclosed that Minister of Trade and Investment, Udo Udoma, and Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, expressed serious concerns over the provisions of several of the treaties President Buhari planned on signing with the UAE.
The ministers’ opposition caused serious friction within Mr. Buhari’s team, SaharaReporters learned.
Mr. Buhari met earlier this week with Sheikh Mohammed Bin Al Nah Yan, the Crown Prince of the UAE, to discuss a range of financial and political issues and to sign six bilateral agreements.
According to documents exclusively leaked to SaharaReporters, the six agreements focused on four judicial issues: extraditing criminals in the UAE to Nigeria, the transfer of incarcerated and sentenced persons, mutual legal assistance on criminal matters, and mutual assistance on civil and commercial issues.
The bilateral agreement expressly states that these agreements relate to the “recovery and repatriation of stolen Nigerian assets.”
Ahead of the signing of the agreements, Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant for Media and Publicity to President Buhari, stated, “Nigeria also expects to get more support from the UAE for its war against terrorism and the recovery of Nigeria’s stolen funds.”
However, SaharaReporters has learned that the commercial and trade agreements signed between Nigeria and the UAE were considered by many on Mr. Buhari’s delegation as counter to Nigeria’s best economic interests.
The most vocal dissenters, according to sources, were Mrs. Adeosun and Mr. Udoma, who counseled Mr. Buhari not to sign those agreements.
Our sources revealed that Mr. Buhari was, however, not interested in his ministers’ arguments that the economic agreements between Nigeria and the UAE were weighted against Nigeria’s interests.
“Mr. President was focused on doing whatever was necessary to repatriate stolen funds and extradite criminals hiding in the UAE,” said one source. He added, “He was so concerned about that sole issue that he became incensed about the warning from some members of his team.”
At one point in the debate, Mr. Buhari declared his readiness to relieve Mrs. Adeosun and Mr. Udoma of their portfolios if they did not drop their opposition to the agreements.
One source told SaharaReporters that the two ministers realized the importance of identifying and reclaiming assets illicitly stashed away by corrupt Nigerians in the UAE, especially Dubai.
However, they felt that Nigeria gave away too much in terms of its bilateral economic interests in order to achieve the president’s major goal.

Real Madrid president bans Cristiano Ronaldo from travelling to Morocco to spend time with best friend

By     No comments:
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has reportedly banned star player Cristiano Ronaldo from traveling to Morocco to see best friend Badr Hari. According to a report by El Espanyol, transcribed by Spanish paper Sport, Perez banned Cristiano Ronaldo from his Morocco trips due to his poor form, weary that the player could lose form due to exhaustion and fatigue from his frequent travels.

It is well known that Cristiano Ronaldo frequently flies to Morocco to spend time with his heavyweight kickboxer friend, Badr Hari. Some times he flies in with his private jet four times a week to Morocco with some media outlets suggesting a gay relationship between the pair.

From Monday to Thursday, Ronaldo gets his £14m private jet at 3PM, after Madrid training finishes, to Marrakech before returning to Madrid at night. Whatever his reasons are for doing this, Perez wants it to stop as he believes it’s affecting Ronaldo’s contribution on the pitch, despite scoring 27 goals in all competitions so far.

Perez has even asked his friend Mohamed VI, the King of Morocco, to inform him when Ronaldo comes into the country. If this is true ,it could affect Ronaldo's relationship with the president and spark fresh rumours of the player's exit from the club.

Not Afraid Of Lassa? See The Big Rat These Guys Killed, Roasted & Ate In Abuja (Photos)

Read according to the guy below…
Few minutes ago, While drinking water before I left a garden somewhere in Garki Abuja‎ where I just had lunch.
I saw 3 young men holding a huge live rat they just caught in the garden.
Out of curiosity, I asked them if they were aware of Lassa fever and to my greatest surprise they knew nothing of such.
From a distance, I watched them slaughter the rat, smoke it and proceeded into the kitchen where the food I ate came from.
This is a clear evidence that the publicity and enlightenment campaign given to the disease is below sufficient.
I’m starting to believe what a caller on radio said some days back; that unlike Ebola, the poor are more vulnerable to Lassa fever hence the government won’t give it adequate attention.‎
Meanwhile, I just had lunch in this garden, and starting to get worried if I may have contacted the disease, and I’m picking up my daughter from school in another 2 hours.

Guardiola And Mourinho Have A Lot In Common – Alonso

By     No comments:
mourinho-guardiola-real-madrid-fc-barcelone

Bayern Munich midfielder Xabi Alonso has suggested Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho are more alike than some may believe.
Guardiola and Mourinho enjoyed a heated rivalry between 2010 and 2013 during their spells as coaches of Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.
Alonso has experienced great success under both men while playing for Madrid and Bayern Munich, and the World Cup-winner believes they share a number of qualities that make them exceptional figures in their field.
Speaking to GQ magazine, Alonso said: “The two are natural leaders. They are charismatic people who know how to convince people. Everyone has their own personality but there are many other things in which they are alike. Both are very emotional, for example.
“They’re able to transmit not only their knowledge of football but also the psychological capacity they have.
“To get the team to fight for you is very difficult. And that’s an essential virtue. It doesn’t matter how good you are in training – if the players are not with you, things won’t work.”
Guardiola brought Bayern to Alonso in 2014 shortly after the experienced playmaker had lifted the Champions League with Madrid, and the 34-year-old admits he still misses life in the Spanish capital.
“Of course I miss Real Madrid, they were five very good years. I felt valued and respected there. And that’s the most important thing for me,” he continued.
“They’re a great team, with great players in every position.
“In spite of their bad start, I’m sure they’ll be fighting for everything come the end of the season.”
The former Liverpool man was keen to praise the way Bayern are run, adding: “It’s a powerful club, an insitution which represents the country very well. An impeccable organisation, everything perfectly structured.
“They care about the small details. It’s been a fantastic experience.”

Metuh Kept With 419 Suspects In Kuje Prision

By     No comments:
a-5

There are indications that the Peoples Democratic Party spokesman, Olisa Metuh, is being kept in a prison cell where financial scammers and those who had committed frauds were being held.
It was learnt that Metuh, who was remanded at the Kuje Prisons, Abuja on the order of a Federal High Court, was isolated from other awaiting trial inmates to protect him from being harmed.
Our correspondent learnt that the prison officers were also keeping a tight watch over him to prevent any foul play.
The court had on Tuesday granted the PDP chieftain bail over a seven-count charge of corruption, but he had yet to meet the bail conditions.
Less than 48 hours after, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Thursday morning slammed a fresh two-count charge on him before Justice Ishaq Bello of the FCT High Court over attempt by the politician to destroy a confessional statement made to its operatives.
Sources said that the prison authorities usually isolate high profile inmates from other criminals who had committed violent offences like armed robbery, murder and other heinous crimes.
It was gathered that the prison authorities were following the standard laid down protocol in Metuh’s case by shielding him from violent inmates who could attack him at night.
The source further explained that Metuh had not been eating prison food, adding that he had made arrangement for his feeding, which he said was allowed.
A source said, “The prisons service has a standard procedure they follow when it comes to high profile inmates or VIP detainees as you call them. One, we don’t allow them to mix with other inmates for safety reason. Secondly, we don’t keep them in crowded cells, but they are kept with those who may have committed a similar offence or offences.
“In Metuh’s case, we are observing the same protocol; he is being held in a cell where people who had committed similar offences were being kept, that is, those who did not commit violent or capital crimes and we are keeping a serious watch over him to prevent any foul play.”
When asked if the prison service was giving Metuh special treatment, the Nigeria Prisons Service Public Relations Officer, Francis Enobore, said all inmates were treated fairly and equally, stressing that “there is no VIP treatment for anyone in prison custody.”
He said that Metuh like any inmate involved in a high profile criminal case, was kept with inmates who had allegedly committed similar offences, adding that this is according to laid down criteria in the prison system.
Enobore said, “When an inmate is brought to the prison, the age, criminal records and type of offence he committed are considered before we place him in a cell.
When VIPs are sent to us, we isolate them from criminals who are in prison on account of violent offences like armed robbery, murder and other heinous crimes.
“We send them to a cell that houses people of similar offence record. We do what is called classification and this is according to laid down criteria. And what are the criteria? Age comes to play here, criminal record is considered and the type of offence. We try to group people.”

Mr Ibu Laments – ''All Those Who Diverted Money From Jonathan Will Die''

By     No comments:
Ibu-Mr

Star actor and comedian, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, in this chat with Vanguard, expresses his opinion about things happening in the Nollywood industry and other related issues.
What do you foresee for the Nollywood industry in 2016?
The picture I foresee for the Actors Guild of Nigeria,AGN,in 2016 is big. But,there is a clause.
The clause there is that we should stop attacking each other. If we stop attacking each other by going to court and police every minute including washing our dirty leaning in the public, we will go far.
AGN is one all over the world. Our own should not be an exception. Good administration has eluded us for so long now. We do not have people that can pilot the affairs of the AGN.
We are fighting every minute. How do we succeed in life in that kind of atmosphere? Now,I sent a proposal for Film Village to the Federal Government. Only God in Haven knows weather it has gotten to the designated point or not.
The same thing was sent in to the government of Enugu State. We are conducting a poll to ascertain where will be most suitable for citing a Film Village. Enugu State scored 83%.
It means that if ever we are going to have a film village, Enugu State is the most suitable nationwide. Second to Enugu is Lagos, with 53% then Owerri, Asaba, 38%,34% respectively. That is why if you watch most Nollywood films,t here locations are shot in Enugu.
So we have more advantage than any other place. We are looking forward to having that film village in Enugu. It is very important. Let government make us responsible rather than looking beggarly, going to government houses and so on. I promised myself that I will never be part of the people going to government houses seeking alms.
Our people should stop piling themselves in government houses. When ex-President Goodluck Jonathan was in office, every minute they were there asking for all maner of favour.
And the ex-President loved us so much that he gave them huge money. All those who diverted monies meant for AGN or Movie Makers will die because they do not know the souls they have killed. For 2016,if all these things are taken care of, AGN will do better. I am promising one thing, am not contesting anything on the AGN but, I have a lot of surprises.
Now that you said Enugu State ranks highest for citing of the Film Village, have you taken your proposal to the government?
A woman working with me has sent in the proposal. The federal or state government might not spend much because we will go ahead and get sponsors.
They will come and build a five-star hotel with a big gate carrying a neon sign,AGN. All the things one may need from all accredited members of AGN will be there.
We will be resident inside the village. People will come in,shoot pictures, shoot musicals among others. I have all these things inside. I equally have friend who are not Nigerians willing to come and invest.
What is your perception of the President Muhammad Buhari-led government anti-corruption war?
It is too early to fight this. I would have preferred the government to set their house in order first. Set the administration going, make the people who voted you talk good of you as you are coming in.
The corrupt people know themselves. While your good work is going on,you can then start picking them one after the other. Whoever that has offended government knows he or she has done so.
Government should set its house in order first. Let the good things about this administration flow first before the arrests.
Let Nigerians talk good of you first, then you can now tell them, there are people who did this and that, that need questioning.
But starting with this quarrel, fighting as a new government,I do not think it will help. Many people are talking about hunger,no money, collapsed businesses among others.
They would have first of all laid good foundation about their administration so that people will feel them first. The change should be seen in the peoples’ welfare and every other thing will follow. That’s my own idea.
Why is it that most Nollywood films tilt towards, ritual and affluence that are perceived as lacking morals?
Films are a reflection of the society. Nobody believes he is a poor person in Nigeria. We are trying to give proper interpretation of what is happening in the society.
Films give back the life in the society. But,already,we have held a meeting that all things should go and give way for films dwelling on family, tragic, comedy stories. The issue is that the ritual thing can’t even go in the society.
My father for instance, was poisoned to death by his best friend. I was small then. When my father died,he told my mother in a dream about three weeks after, that it was his best friend that killed him.
In that dream,my father told my mother, invite the man who killed me but nobody should hurt him.
My father equally instructed my mum to invite my brothers and relations inside our compound.
Tell them what I said. My mother invited the man, as my father instructed and other relatives. My fathers instruction was done exactly as it came.
They told the man what my father said. He denied and they said okay, you will eat the yam roasted on my father’s grave. If you did not do it,you will go home, but if you did it,you will die here.
The yam was roasted on my father’s grave in the presence of the man. All the elders in my village ate the yam and said the yam was sweat and that we did not put poison in the food roasted on father’s grave.
Then came the turn of the man. The elders asked him to say that if he was responsible for the death of my father,Emmanuel Okafor, let this food be the last food he will eat.
But if he did not know anything about my father’s death, let his life span be increased. The man who killed my father refused to eat it. And remember,my father had warned us in the dream, that we should not touch him.
When he refused, nobody touched him and he left. That is to tell you that the rituals we are shooting is real. But the new generations coming up,they are oblivious about these concoctions. That is why we shoot films to highlight these things so that people will know and shun such evil ways.
What happened to the money,ex-President Jonathan allegedly gave to the AGN as loan?
Laughter…I did not see one naira oohhhh! I do not know who processed andcollected it. If the money was released,I do not know. If they did not release it,I do not know.
The people who were supposed to give us information, talking about the leadership of AGN, did not tell us anything even the first $200 million, nothing was heard of it. What am looking for is hectares of land for the Film Village, then I will leave acting.

Although, chapter 18, verse 23 of the Book of Leviticus commands thus: “And you shall not lie with any beast and defile yourself with it, neither shall any woman give herself to a beast to lie with it,” Master Miracle Oluebube Nweke, a 15-year old Christian is not bothered by such ordinance.
At his age, he has not only been copulating but strangely so with animals which must be sheep.
The teenage boy, a native of Eziagu in Enugu state, last Monday confessed that he had been engaging in sodomy for a while but was never caught.
He said he knew that it was not normal but that he could not help himself.
He said anytime he had urge, a strange voice would lead him to where he would get a tethered sheep which he would loose and drag to an uncompleted building to have s*x with it.
Miracle explained that on sighting any sheep, he would engage, first, in sexual fixation otherwise called zoophilia before graduating to raping it otherwise called bestiality or sodomy.
He was in the middle of the act this week in the South East when his friend cut his fun short and raised the alarm which made the vigilante operatives to go after him and arrested him.
Master Miracle was, specifically, arrested on Monday, January 18, this week by the Edoji, Uruagu-Nnewi vigilante group after which he was subjected to a round of investigation.
Who is Master Miracle?
Hear him: “I am the first of seven male children of my parents, I dropped out of school after my primary 6. I then started learning painting. But, that too is not going well.
“My father, Mr Sunday Nweke, is a trader at Fairly Used Market, Mgbuka in Nnewi while my mother, Mrs Ndide Nweke sells banana and groundnut in our neighborhood.
My likes
Miracle said he usually looks for sheep tied in the farms and bushes to graze whenever he has urge to have s*x.
“Whenever I get any sheep of my choice, I untie it from the spot where the owner has left it and take the sheep to a secluded uncompleted building and have s*x with it.
“I don’t do anything else with the sheep than that. I normally make sure that no one is around watching while doing it because I know that the owners of the sheep may not like it.
“But it gives me great pleasure whenever I have s*x with sheep. I have never tried any other kind of animal to know the difference. My experience of having s*x with sheep is sweet.”
Any affiliation with occultic groups?
The teenager also made it clear that he is a Christian of the Assemblies of God Church in Nnewichi-Nnewi who will not steal anything from anybody and that he does not belong to any cult but only have friends whom he plays football with.
He also exonerated his friends when he declared that they are not involved in having s*x with sheep.
“The last time, our landlady accused me of stealing her money when she actually securely locked her doors and windows. How could I have entered her house?
“But I know she was just trying to eject my parents after the news got to her that I usually sleep with sheep which she considered atrocious. I don’t steal and I don’t molest children. I am not a criminal,” he explained.
Any previous engagements?
The 15-year old who boastfully said that he has been doing it for some time stated that his attraction is just for sheep and that he does not, in fact, have sexual urge toward women, men, children or any other kind of animal.
“This is not the first time I did it. Nobody would have known that I am into that if not that one of my friends, Dede, saw me this time around and raised the alarm and these people started pursuing me with their gun and I had to stop running because I did not want them to shoot me. If not they wouldn’t have caught me.”
Why sheep?
He however blamed evil spirit for being responsible for his sexual depravity. “There is a spirit that normally tells me to go and look for sheep and whenever I hear the commanding voice of the spirit, it becomes irresistible for me to take away my eyes from sheep.
“I will be so restless and confused until after I have carried out the instruction of the unseen spirit,” he narrated.
Any regret?
Asked if he has any regret now that he has been caught in the act, the boy answered in the affirmative but that he could not say categorically that he would not do it again.
Drama
Things however assumed a dramatic turn when the owner of the sheep who identified himself simply as Mr Uche from Nkpoka, Nnewichi-Nnewi told the vigilante operatives that he would not go home with the sheep again.
He demanded that the teenager who defiled his sheep must buy it. Uche argued that it would be misleading for anyone to think that the sheep is still normal after its encounter with Miracle.
“The best thing is to sell this sheep and its small baby to Miracle so that he can do whatever he wants with it. I cannot take them home again after their experience in his hand.
“I will only be deceiving myself if I believe my sheep is still normal. If I take them home and they start biting people, what would I do?
“Again, if the sheep later gives birth to a half man and half animal, what do you want me to tell the world?” Uche queried.
The vigilante operative, Okeke, when asked on what becomes of the arrested boy, said that he would be released to his parents after they have made adequate payment for the sheep that was raped by their son, noting that the 15-year old boy would not be handed over to the police.
“You will agree with me that this is not a criminal case and I don’t think it is necessary to start wasting our time and that of the police by taking this boy to the station.
“We will release him to his parents so that they can go and find spiritual solutions to his problems. This is more of a spiritual case than security matter.”
Mr and Mrs Nweke were however not available for comments as at the time of filing this report.
The Authority on Saturday reports that copulating with animals though is not new in history, it is, however, rare, an abomination and seriously frowned at.
Instances of this behaviour were not only found in the Bible but also in cave paintings from at least 8000 BC.
A book titled Sexual Behaviour in Human Male, authored by Alfred Kinsey, Wardell Pomeroy and Clyde Martin and published by Saunders in 1948 gave the percentage of people who had sexual interaction with animals at some points in their lives at 8% for men and 3.6% for women and claimed it was 40-50% in people living near farms.
Bestiality (Sodomy) has thus become a subject of discourse by several sciences including psychology (the study of human mind); sexology (the study of human sexuality); ethology (the study of animal behavior) and anthrozoology (the study of human-animal interactions and bonds.)
In many jurisdictions, all forms of sodomitical (zoophilic) acts are prohibited while in others, only the mistreatment of animals without specific mention of sexual activity is outlawed.
