If you don’t know her, you are not alone, I don’t either. Yes she is that unpopular. She goes by the name Hannah Ogundare and a quick search on popular search engine google will pop a biography which says ”she is the 2nd best thing that ever happened to Nollywood after Omotola”. Anyway, she recently granted a tell-it-all interview with one of Nigeria’s biggest print media company Vanguard newspaper and she revealed some intimate things about herself. When asked about her intimate life, she said: “I don’t really enjoy s*x, I prefer romance. Meanwhile, I don’t have s*x often because I don’t have a man presently. But that does not mean I won’t sort myself whenever the need arises. I can always arrange that”.

Am Not Ready For Marriage, Says Flavour

By     No comments:

Flavour-1
Famous highlife singer, Flavour has come out to say he is not yet ready to get married even though he has two babies from two women.
In an interview with My Joy Online, Flavour expressed why settling down now will be a bad idea for him.
Marriage is a serious thing” he said, “it’s a decision that when you make it’s like you are in it or you are not so you don’t need to make the wrong decision. That’s the most important thing.
If you want to marry, for marrying sake then it doesn’t make sense. You are not defining marriage and because of the kind of job we do, I hardly stay at home so where am I going to have the time to give my family? So it is very difficult” he further stated.
Still speaking on the matter he disclosed that if he had a regular job, marriage would be no problem for him, but his schedule as an artiste would not permit that.
If I was maybe a banker, a CEO of a company or some kind of job it would be very easy, because I would have just gone to work and return to my family every day. For almost two months now I have not been home so if I had a wife…what will be expected of me? That means I can’t go to work, I have to think about them because I can’t leave them lonely like that” he said.
Flavour welcomed a baby girl from former Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria Anna Banner in August.

Although management of the hospital denied the development, it, nevertheless, shut down the Accident and Emergency ward after the Ebola virus scare hit the health institution yesterday.

Investigation by Daily Sun revealed that the scare was induced by the death of a patient, who was brought in from nearby Akpabuyo community in Akpabuyo Local Government Area of the state for treatment on Tuesday evening, but reportedly died at about 2 a.m. yesterday, of symptoms related to the deadly virus.

The patient, whose identity could not be ascertained as at press time, was said to have vomited so much blood and bled from other sensitive parts of his body.

Sources said the body temperature of the patient also ran high, when he was brought in by family members, adding that the patient died shortly after samples were taken from his blood for investigation.

It was also gathered that due to the incident, the Accident and Emergency ward of the hospital has been shut down.

A source said: “A patient was brought in on Tuesday, vomiting, stooling and bleeding from the nose and mouth. He had high temperature. It was suspected that he had haemorrhagic fever, but it has not been confirmed. He died at about 2 a.m. yesterday and his body has been quarantined, while the ward was shut down.”

But another staff of the hospital, who declined to be named, said “the patient was suspected to have died of haemorrhagic fever or adverse drug reaction.”

The employee said the State Ebola Emergency and primary healthcare teams were contacted and they arrived about 6 p.m. to take the sample of the deceased for further investigation.

When contacted, Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee of UCTH, Dr. Queenet Kalu said there was a case of a patient, who died of symptoms suspected to be haemorrhagic fever.

“Yes, we had a patient that was suspected to have died of haemorrhagic fever, but it does not call for panic as everything is under control. There is no need for the public to be scared of EVD as it has not been confirmed.”

As at the time of going to press, all the nurses and medical personnel, who had contacts with the patient have been invited back to the hospital and quarantined for treatment.

Blatter says FIFA ethics committee did not follow code on suspension

By     No comments:

FIFA President Joseph Blatter on Thursday said he was not given an opportunity to be heard by the organisation’s Ethics Committee before it provisionally suspended him for 90 days.
“Blatter is disappointed the Ethics Committee did not follow the Code of Ethics and Disciplinary Code, both of which provide for an opportunity to be heard,’’ Blatter’s lawyers, Lorenz Erni and Richard Cullen, said in a written statement.
“The ethics committee based its decision on a misunderstanding of the actions of the Attorney General in Switzerland, which has opened an investigation but brought no charge against the president,’’ the lawyers added.
They said Swiss prosecutors would be obliged by law to dismiss the case if their investigation, barely two weeks old, did not establish sufficient evidence.
“Blatter looks forward to the opportunity to present evidence that will demonstrate that he did not engage in any misconduct, criminal or otherwise,’’ the statement added.

More than 1,220 families have been displaced and 4,501 farms destroyed by flood in some coastline communities in Cross River, an official has said.
Mr Vincent Aquah, the Director General of State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), made the disclosure in Calabar on Thursday.
Aquah said the flood displaced 686 families in 50 communities in Odukpani Local Government Area, 503 in 16 communities in Biase and 31 in Okpodon Village in Yala Local Government Area.
He attributed the disaster to increase in the water level due to rainfall which ravaged the communities.
He said that the people carried out emergency harvesting of yams, cassava and groundnuts in the areas.
Aquah said crops affected by the disaster were sold at giveaway prices by their owners while some rotted away.
He attributed the frequency of the natural disasters in the state to climate change and said governments at all levels should be properly repositioned to mitigate such disasters whenever they occurred.
Aquah said efforts would be made to provide succour for the affected people and commended the brotherly spirit displayed by neighbours and relatives who graciously accommodated the victims.
The SEMA boss warned people to desist from venturing into any precarious waters to salvage property to avoid drowning.
A community leader in Obum community, Erei North in Biase, Chief-Ukam said the agrarian people of the area were likely to face economic difficulties.
He said crops such as yams, cassava, rice, pepper, cocoyam, vegetables and garden eggs worth several millions of naira were destroyed.
Similarly, the clan head of Umon Island in Biase, Onun Sunday Ijo, said that the flood, caused by the overflow of the Cross River, washed away food crops and damaged several residential and public structures such as schools.
The Chairman of Odukpani Local Government, Mr Bassey Eyo, said that apart from the economic problems posed by the flood, the people were facing health challenges, including cholera, while reptiles, such as snakes and crocodiles, had invaded communities.
The Chairman of Biase Local Government, Mr Ana Enebieni, described the damage as monumental and urged the state and federal governments to intervene.
