Why I Visited President Buhari – Father Mbaka

By     No comments:

The Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has said his recent visit to President Muhammadu Buhari in Aso Rock, Abuja was scriptural.

Recently he paid the president a visit at the Aso Rock Villa and according to Mbaka who spoke to Sunday Sun through his Personal Assistant and Media Chief of the Adoration Ministry, Mr Maximus Ugwuoke, a lawyer, said the attacks on the spiritual director was uncalled for as prophets of old like Mbaka had at one time or the other visited their leaders.
“We read those speculations in the media. Many questioned why Fr Mbaka had to visit President Buhari. Those disparaging remarks were actuated by jealousy and chronic envy among Christians nowadays. Fr Mbaka had faced even more satanic blackmail and devilish character assassination than this.”

“It didn’t start today as he had faced worse criticisms in the past. We tend to forget that the scriptures told us in Psalm 105:15 “Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm”

“Is it a crime for a man of God to visit the President? Apart from being a priest and an anointed Prophet of God, is Fr Mbaka not a Nigerian? If yes, has he no right to enter our Aso Rock (the Presidential Villa).”

“For visiting Mr President has Fr Mbaka done what is unscriptural? In Exodus 5, did Mosses a prophet of God not visit Pharaoh in his seat of power in Egypt? Did Samuel not visit Saul in his seat of power in 1st Samuel 15? In 2nd Samuel 12, did Prophet Nathan not visit David in his seat of power? Did we not read about Elisha and Ahab in the scriptures, in 1st Kings 17?

In Acts 10 did Peter the first pope of the Church not visit Cornelius in his house? Did we not read in the Bible that even Jesus himself left heaven and came to man on earth? Is it not the hallmark of a real and humble anointed man of God to do what the biblical prophets did? We wonder why those whose insinuations of what transpired during the meeting between Fr Mbaka and Mr President are poke nosing for. Did Fr Mbaka himself not answer their questions in the interview he granted the media during the visit when he stated that he had come to bless Nigerians and pray for their peace? This was aired on Channels, AIT and published in some newspapers. Those who say Fr Mbaka came to be settled by Mr President or that he came on Biafra agenda are on their own.

Like I said, Fr Mbaka is not new to such accusations but one thing is clear, Fr Mbaka is not a Ghana-must- go-prophet. Even his accusers know this fact and that was why I said earlier that they make those speculations out of sheer envy and chronic jealousy.

Adoration people worldwide know who Fr Mbaka is in matters of morals and chastity and we are happy with him. He is such a man that practically lives a life of fasting and outpouring for the needy.

Nigerians are happy with him. We continue to appeal to him not to leave Mr President to fall into the hands of hawks and vultures. We urge him not to mind the accusers and the critics but to keep praying for Mr President as a product of his prophecy. His detractors are just looking for a way to ensure that President Buhari fails so that they would face Fr Mbaka. We urge him to keep blessing Nigeria and Nigerians.

It will be recalled that Fr Mbaka had predicted before the presidential election early this year that Buhari would defeat former President Goodluck Jonathan which generated a lot of tension, including the threat to his life.

Di'ja Opens Up On Her Relationship With Don Jazzy

By     No comments:

Well in this new interview, the Mavin star, Aphrodija talked about the first time she met Don Jazzy and more. Read the interesting excerpts from the interview below

Meeting Don Jazzy, I felt like I was reborn. I met him through my manager. He told we were going to see a producer, I didn’t know where we were going so we ended up in Don Jazzy’s house. I didn’t even know where I was. I ended up meeting Baby Fresh, Altims and a few others. They started listening to songs that I had done before and I had this nervousness in me. Not long after, I saw a shadow behind me and when I turned around to see who it was at the door, it was Don Jazzy and I almost fainted, I just told myself to stay composed. It even got worse when Don Jazzy started listening to my songs, I just got so nervous. 1 thing I love about Don Jazzy is that he won’t promise you anything; rather he would tell you that he would do his best. He told us he would get back to us and the next day he pulled a call through and that was it. We started recording and we recorded quite a few tracks. At that time nobody was bothered about a contract or papers, we just wanted to work. From there I met Reekado and then Korede Bello. We didn’t even know there was a plan; we were just happy working and enjoying each others company. We recorded for about 8 to 9 months at that time before Don Jazzy even considered giving us a contract.

How did you choose your kind of music?
I didn’t, like I said I just became myself. I can write a song for 5 years. I still have songs that I haven’t finished writing since 2008. This is because there’s just this thing about been yourself. They won’t sound the same again. Some people kill themselves when they try to be like someone else. Some artistes go to a producer and say I love that Woju beat that Kiss Daniel sang on, I want something like that and then they don’t make a hit out of it like Kiss Daniel did. This is because you don’t know what mood Kiss Daniel was in when he was writing and recording Woju. So why not just be yourself and write your songs as they come from your heart. I like been crazy and I experiment my craziness while recording. Sometimes I would be like Altims or BabyFresh please commot that thing and they would be like they love it and I should do it again. Sometimes I would beg them to take it off and when Don Jazzy walks in I would be like a little disturbed and he would encourage me to be crazy, be free and be myself, he would say be silly, it is actually trying to be silly you find your smartest moment. Because it is during that moment of been silly you would realize something that would pay off. I think Music comes with a form of madness. You just have to be free, crazy, silly and yourself. Don’t try to please everyone, please yourself even if it takes you to be crazy.

How were you able to convince your parents on you doing music?
I never really did, I always got into trouble doing it and when I went to school in Canada, I was doing it because I was far and my brother would encourage me to keep doing it. One of my friends put me in a competition, it was the Beat Music Award and we were about 200 that put in for the award and that was my first time singing to a crowd judging me. I know that I sang my best but it wasn’t my best that came out. I think it was the passion and everything in me. I ended up winning the competition to my surprise. From then on, this was in 2008, I started letting my mom and dad know. At that point I started understanding my dream. When I met Don Jazzy, I was at a point where I almost felt like going back away from music. At that point, we didn’t have a house in Lagos so I was staying with my aunt. Imagine waking up and leaving the house at 4am in the morning and telling her that you are going to the studio? She’ll be like, who does gospel music in the studio at 4am? I explained to my aunt. At that time I had met my manager, he even interviewed me and I was like “which one be this again’. He really took his time and I’m grateful for that. If you are really doing something you love, it might take a long time. Some people think I just kind of popped out. My professional life started in 2008.

CBN Insists It Won’t Reverse Restriction On Naira ATM Card Abroad

By     No comments:
The Central Bank of Nigeria has said the decision of Deposit Money Banks to place a restriction on the use of Automated Teller Machine cards abroad by bank customers is due to scarcity of foreign exchange.

The apex bank said while it had no powers to reverse the restriction placed by the DMBs on the use of the ATMs abroad, the CBN was in support of the decision as it would assist in reducing the pressure on the naira.

So also did the apex bank in the country said it will now start selling foreign exchange directly to end users.

The Director of Monetary Policy Department of the CBN, Moses Tule, said these in Abuja when he spoke with newsmen.

Tule said the restriction of the usage of ATM cards might continue until the country could increase its foreign exchange earnings.

He said if banks had not taken the decision to restrict the use of the ATM cards abroad, some of them would by now be experiencing challenges meeting the overseas demand of their customers.

He said would have caused huge liabilities in the balance sheet of the banks, thus affecting their operations.

Tule said though the CBN sympathised with Nigerians for the sufferings they are experiencing in carrying out transactions abroad, there was little it could do to reverse the decision of the banks.

He said: “The limitation on the use of debit or credit cards outside the country was not a limitation that was placed by the CBN.

“They were restrictions that Deposit Money Banks placed because they have to settle whatever transactions you make with your debit cards with their corresponding banks in foreign currency.

“And if the banks do not have the foreign currency to do that, then you create a liability problem for them.”

On the solution to the hardship faced by Nigerians carrying out businesses abroad, Tule said: “Our priority as a nation for the allocation or use of foreign exchange is for the settlement of matured Letters of Credit that have been opened for importation, for the importation of petroleum products, until such a time when we have our refineries fully operational and we are not in a position to import fuel again to ensure that the wheels of economic development continue turning and running and for the importation of raw materials.

“By the time we meet these three priority areas, you will discover that people who are using their debit cards overseas for shopping can never be on the priority list.

“We do understand that it may not be all that the demands will be for shopping.

“We have seen that the reserves are not there and what we have we will use essentially for the purposes that will keep the wheels of the economy running.

“We have to produce for export.
“We can’t continue to depend only on the export of crude oil.

“It is a healthy development where Nigerians can no longer use debit cards abroad.
“But it is inconvenient.

“Right now the country is going through very difficult times because of developments in the oil market.

“Foreign exchange under the condition Nigeria has found itself has become a seasonal commodity.

“Seasonal in the sense that it depends on the movement of the price of oil.

“If oil prices are high, then we build reserves.

“If oil prices are low, then we have no reserves and we will be in a crisis situation.

“Does the CBN sympathize with the situation Nigerians find themselves not being able to use their debit cards outside the country?

“Yes the CBN certainly does sympathize with the hardship Nigerians are facing.

“But can the CBN stop it?
“The CBN cannot stop what the banks are doing now and the reason is very obvious.”

NNPC- 75% of fuel in Nigeria will still be imported in 2016

By     No comments:

Group Managing Director NNPC and Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, during his tour of Kaduna Refinery and Petrochemical Company, KRPC, yesterday, said the country will still rely on 75 per cent importation of fuel throughout the whole of next year.

According to him:
“The future is that, Nigeria is still going to import fuel in 2016 and beyond. Best case situation is 25 per cent local and 75 per cent importation. Worse case is what we are experiencing now.
“Until we begin to get individuals who can co-relocate, we are going to be doing a mixture of local and importation of fuel to meet up demands. In the next few weeks, however, queues will disappear in fuel stations.”
The minister said that the Kaduna refinery will soon be producing more than two million litres per day capacity as soon as an Fluid Catalytic Cracking, FCC, unit is fully on stream.
He said:
“We need to get it back to re-kit it to work well. We will do that with some level of production going on. Our concern is to have a consistent production and provision of products at all times.”
“We will not be fluctuating prices, we will take an average. Today no subsidy, in January we will look at the situation and announce it.”
In regards to privatization, he said:
“President Muhammadu Buhari has not approved any policy about selling the refineries.”

Jose Mourinho offered Real Madrid job

By     No comments:

Jose Mourinho is facing a massive dilemma after being offered an instant return to Real Madrid.
And that will turn up the heat even further on Manchester United and Louis Van Gaal who is under increasing pressure at Old Trafford.

United must move quickly or risk missing out on Mourinho who must also decide on whether to pursue the Real Madrid job - or hang on.
Mirror Sport revealed last month Real Madrid president Florentino Perez wants Mourinho to return to the Bernabeu.

And it is understood that Perez has now made a move to bring in Mourinho to replace under-pressure Rafa Benitez - and wants him in charge as quickly as possible.
Mourinho would prefer the United job rather than return to Real Madrid where he left amid controversy and under a cloud two-and-a-half years ago.
But despite Mourinho being unpopular with sections of the Real Madrid fans and dressing room, Perez has remained a huge fan.

Agents have now sounded out Mourinho’s camp and placed an offer on the table.
