The House in a motion of urgent matter of public importance moved at plenary  by Rep Abike Dabiri-Erewa,
(APC Lagos), noted that for sometimes now, the xenophobic attacks on Africans in South Africa has continued unabated.
The House noted sadly that the recent attacks which has left many dead, businesses and shops vandalised, many beaten up, was incited by a statement allegedly made by the South African Zulu King, Goodwill Zwelithini, who was said to have ordered African migrants to return to their country as they are no longer
welcome in South Africa.
“Nigeria frowns at the attacks and will no longer tolerate the killing of its nationals in South Africa. President Goodluck Jonathan must immediately convey this to President Zuma as a matter of urgency.
“Nigeria should recall its High Commissioner from South Africa pending when the attacks will stop,” the House resolved.

The lawmakers also appealed to the federal government to apply the diplomatic principle of reciprocity in
dealing with South Africa, adding that if South Africa continues to frustrate Nigerian businesses, Nigeria must also do the same to South Africa businesses in the country.
Also, Foreign Affairs Minister, Ambassador Aminu Wali, said that the government would not hesitate to
evacuate Nigerians living in South Africa if the xenophobic attacks on foreigners in that country continues.

I've even gone so far as to verbalize it specifically, time is too precious to waste on trivial arguments and negativities. I'd rather get on to the more fun and rewarding stuff right away!
