Famous Bollywood Actress, Pratyusha Banerjee Commits Suicide At 24

Reports coming in say Bollywood actress, Pratyusha Banerjee, has been found dead in her apartment from apparent suicide after the 24-yr-old had been found hanging from her ceiling fan.

The police made the discovery at her home in Mumbai Goregaon, April 1, 2016, even as India has been thrown into mourning.

Banerjee who was made popular for her roles in TV series such as Balika Vadhu, Bigg Boss 7, Sasural Simar Ka and many other, had reportedly been rushed to the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Andheri before being declared dead upon arrival.

Mumbai police spokesperson, Dhananjay Kulkarni, while confirming the news said that the hospital has reportedly sent a report on the actress’ death.

The news reports reveal that the police are currently investigating the probable causes behind Banerjee’s suicide, although some ‘personal reasons’ are said to have been behind the suicide.

Actor Dolly Bindra, has reportedly revealed that no one from the film industry believes that Banerjee had actually taken her own life.

Shocked colleagues, apart from Bindra including Sara Khan, Jay Bhanushali, Meghna Naidu, Sachin Shroff have reportedly been spotted outside the accident and emergency ward of the hospital.
