BBA Hotshots: Tayo
Nigeria’s Tayo came in second to winning the BBA Hotshot prize money of $300,000 which disappointed a lot of Nigerians who believed he deserved it more than the Tanzanian representative Idris.
During his stay in the house Tayo’s girlfriend gave birth to their child, Oluwatoye, which he missed but was rewarded with a consolation prize of a box of cigars and cognac to celebrate with housemates.
His celebration of the birth of his child and his love for his family tore at the hearts of Nigerians and most especially the one Ayiri Emami who is a billionaire. Ayiri being a huge fan of Tayo was disappointed when he didn’t win, so much so that he decided to award him with Tayo $350,000 which is $50,000 more than what the winner of Big Brother Africa.
